Not great. Very basic. It's Rush, but underground and nowhere near as pretty.

This game is fun. Not the greatest game out there, but you get to fly in a metal suit, and shoot missiles at the people who pass you.

Pretty cool game. Optimized well, I never experienced VR lag or glitches. Game should really be Multiplayer tho, but still is fun solo. I paid $1:00. And I for one really enjoyed this game. It gives you a rush at moments and can be very fun. Only problem that it's not multiplayer and this game could benefit from it.

It's okay. I didn't expect much and got what I expected, no more, no less.
I really wish there was a little rotation when you moved your arms up and down, a bit like you were steering.
The tutorial needs lots of work, none of the controls were explained.
Probably best played sat in your swivel chair in the middle of your play space. Also you don't need your arms out in front of you.
It's a 5/10 game but costs less than an ice cream so I'm just in favour of Recommend than avoid.

This is a VERY reluctant recommendation.
FlyingMetalSuit has a lot of flaws and only one saving grace - fun base gameplay.
It looks and sounds terrible, UI is atrocious, maps has a lot of copy-pasted sections, championship mode is just 3 races in a row. But flying feels awesome, and this is what matters the most to me.

Movement is the core gameplay mechanic here, so you'd think there would be something to it to master, but there just isn't. The game seems to just take the average of the direction of the two controllers and sets your velocity in that direction. There is no momentum whatsoever, and so there is no challenge to it. Sorry, it wasn't much money, but I still can't recommend it.

I purchased this on the Steam Winter Sale for $3.89 USD and it's a good deal at that price. This is simply a flying racing obstacle course game. For those of you who get nauseous (not me), you probably don't need to worry as you don't really fly that fast around the aerial laps (although you move fast in short bursts when boosted). This is more of a technical arcade racer. So it's more about avoiding obstacles and making turns correctly.
You do have to put your arms out in front of you, superman style and press trigger to fly. You can either stop holding trigger or move your arms farther apart to slow down (advised during sharp turns). You get powerups of boost or rockets to take down enemies.
The maps are interesting enough and I had fun. You have easy, medium, and hard difficulties. Although some of the content is locked off. I assume you have to win each race that is open to unlock the locked races. Unfortunately, my arm started hurting after about 30 minutes so I had to call it quits. I did win most of the races on normal. I skipped easy / training entirely.
The menu UI is very rough around the edges. I did experience a bug on one of the races where after I had teleported to the second lap and got to the end, it said again to teleport to second lap instead of finish. Nothing happened when I tried to go through the portal. I saw no way to exit and had to quit the game manually. Although when I restarted the race a second time, it worked fine.
Sale Price Rating 7/10. Good deal for the sale price. Think this game is excellent for those who want an arcade casual aerial racing game. I would say it's of medium intensity. I personally would love a faster mode though :D
