STEINS;GATE if it was even better

I've been loving every second of it. When I played steins gate tho I loved it I felt so bad for the cast cuz they were suffering all the time. My darling's embrace is all I ever wanted, they are just living their lives being funni and stupid cuz they get to be stupid bc their lives aren't on the line., When Moeka's foster father showed up I legit cried to the point I could feel the tears rolling on my face loved it loved it loved it loved it.

This is a pretty straightforward set of lighthearted stories featuring Okabe with each girl in romantic scenarios. Most of them are pretty short and they don't really go that far with the romance except for one route. If all you want is just some cute character interactions, this will do the job. There are two routes which I feel could have been done a bit better. Luka's route chickens out of tackling the main aspect of the relationship in any serious manner and spends way too much time on Okabe's delusions. We could explain this as just Okabe running away from the situation instead of facing it, but come on, Steins;Gate is capable of better. The other route is Suzuha's, as it just has to feature Daru's shenanigans. The writers could leave Daru on the bench for this one and we wouldn't be losing anything of value. Other than that, hunting down messages for the achievement is a bit of a pain. The in-game guide will sort of point you towards collecting them all, but you will still have to run through the game on skip a couple of times and keep a bunch of saves to keep track of all the mails.

If you love the original Steins;Gate novel , you'll enjoy this as well as it explores more of the personal side of characters you already care about . The game is easy to play , with similar function as the original novel . Personally , I found it to be a refreshing take on a familiar world , one that brings out the human side of the characters . If you’re looking for a game that is both fun and heartwarming , I highly recommend giving Steins ; Gate : My Darling's Embrace a try .
