i played this game a lot as a kid so obviously i'm gonna enjoy the remake. HOWEVER completionists beware: this game is glitched to hell and back when it comes to collectibles. i was forced to both get an out of bounds collectible and start a new run to 100% the game

The Best Game Ever Im Been Watching Spongebob Since 2018 and I still love it.

Came for the 2000's nostalgia, stayed for the low brain effort platforming and combat.

Lots of great memories of playing this on PS2 when I was a kid. Got this to live the nostalgia. Now, it seems very simple, but still had a ton of fun.

It's a good game and the new game he created "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake", IS SO GOOD THAT I HAVE ACHIEVED ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS. But I finished the game and even with all the spatulas and socks I couldn't get all the achievements on Steam. Can the developers help me?

I got all achievements in 7.0 hours. I had a whole lot of fun collecting everything and think this game has a whole lot of charm. If you enjoy 3D Platformer Collecathons this is a game that you'll enjoy. Also there's a bug with the achievements where sometimes it doesn't log your spatulas, to fix it you can make a new save and collect what you're missing.

i like this game for many reasons. It's funny, many great references to the show, and it's fun to play overall

So nice I had to buy it thrice! Truly this is an amazing colletathon platformer for any age, and any experience level. I honestly feel even those with no SpongeBob love will get a lot out of it, but being familiar with the cartoon king certainly elevates the jokes and humor. The controls are the right in between of loose and tight, the closest comparison I can think of being a lighter Mario in Sunshine. The only issues to be encountered I would say is the poorly implemented wall jump, which is so automatic it is prone to throwing you off a ledge in tighter platforming situations. But it’s nothing some retries and luck won’t get you by! A perfect gift of all ages.

This was the First time I've played this game, it was fun if not a bit repetitive but that's fine all in all it was a fun time. the only thing i will complain about is that the controls can be a bit janky and stiff in some parts but even then it didn't take all that much away from the games charm. all in all ill give it a 9/10. It is easy and simple enough for a child to get the hang of witch makes sense since this is a kids game.

Fun to play on a second monitor, while watching a movie or something. By itself though, it doesn't give my fried adult monkey brain enough dopamine.
