This got many of the emoji that one knows and may even love. As many of the other player states the DLC is the easiest to complete of them all and I do understand their frustration with it. I don't find it a problem though as it's pretty relaxing and it's what the main purpose of the 'game' is about afterall. It offers you a break from the really tedious and complex ones that otherwise exists in the package.

DLC that adds more pictures to color (obviously) All DLC required to 100% achievements, but it's cheap. However, just like another one, this is full of small images that will not last you very long. Only really good if you want the achievements.

Exactly what it describes, doesn't deserve the negative response it received. This pack is much shorter and easier to complete than the others, but it's emojis---and the size of each image is clearly listed in the description. I finished this pack in one sitting and got it on sale for 76 cents, so I'd say that was worth it.

These are all smaller in size and easy to do. The only DLC they've done so far that I wouldn't recommend.

A pretty easy and pretty ok pack. Not bad but also nothing special. It was fun to colour and fastly done. A nice change of pace to the other packs. I can recommend this pack

Feels extremely lazy, as if they forgot they had to design a DLC and did it all last minute. Levels are far too easy. This is the only DLC so far that I wouldn't recommend getting.

This is this game's first DLC I didn't really like. There are no complex images, completed it in a single sitting and I don't feel it's up to par with the previous ones :(

While I would understand why people would be disappointed with this one, personally I'm pretty fine with it. They're all actually pixel art, for one, and the mid-to-large size pictures here are what I'd want more of from this kind of game in general. The only annoying one is the last image, which is just a bit boring as you have huuuuge blocks of single colors all over the place, it's a bit flat and way too big for how little you actually do. Besides that though, it's... fine. I blew through this entire pack in a day of not wanting to finish the last Farm image and I enjoyed it well enough.
Review of Coloring Pixels: Emoji Pack DLC
The first DLC pack I ever bought for Coloring Pixels, and one that has had the community split over the past few years (As far as outspoken opinions are concerned). While it was my first, and I was not disappointed personally, I can understand why there is dislike for it to an extent. I recommend reading my review of Coloring Pixels first, to give more context to this discussion. Emoji Pack Containing 20 colorable images, themed after commonly used emoji's across various platforms. This is partially the reason I chose it as my first DLC, while also being mixed from other users. A majority of the images are relatively small, and simple in color palettes. Even the last few images are just standard emoji's that have been upsized with some added shade detail. Nothing overly fancy. The final image however, is not an emoji, but still follows the theme of the pack & is the largest image available out of the 20. Now the smaller size is not really an issue for me, I still feel as though I got my value. However if you're looking to put forth $1 for more than an hour or two of content, then this is probably not your best option out of the available DLC. All 20 images in the emoji pack can be completed in a couple hours or less, leaving you kind of wanting more. If ToatsieLabs ever plans on releasing an Emoji 2 pack, I'd suggest maybe increasing the total image count from 20. Or including collages similar to the sprites in the RPG pack. Specifically, including more than one emoji per single colorable image. There's a near infinite amount of possibility when it comes to emoji's or emoticons that could be perfectly suited for Coloring Pixels. As I mentioned above, I felt as though I got my value. This mainly comes from just having more to color, and having more achievements to collect. This will be a reoccurring theme throughout my reviews of the DLC packs. I wasn't disappointed with any of the images, although I will admit that they're not very exciting to me, visually. With that being said, I don't think there's any real issues keeping you from being able to add this to your collection. Just that you may not feel the same level of value that I did. There's always the option to wait for a sale, to get it for a little cheaper. There's 21 total achievements included with this DLC. 1 for each of the 20 images & 1 for completing the entire book.
Conclusion (Pros & Cons)
If you're just looking for additional images, and not specifically hoping for something with hours of content, then the Emoji pack is a good start. I would personally hold off on this one until later, as I feel there are far superior packs that provide more interesting images to color, without requiring hours to finish. Pros: +Cheap cost +Steam Achievements Neutral: ~Simple images ~Very short completion length Cons: N/A
Disclaimer
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Please remember, that this is just my opinion. We don't have to agree, one thing I love you may hate, and one thing I hate you may love. Hopefully this gave you an idea of what to expect. Review lengths have been greatly compressed due to the character limit. 5/17/2022

I was excited to get another DLC for Coloring Pixels and this one is the only one I have been disappointed in. I get they are images of emojis but they are all small and not worth the same price as the other DLC in this pack (which has more complex images in their packs). Basically, it's not worth $1.19 Canadian. If you are going to get this one, wait for it to go on sale.
