Boss rush platformer that takes more inspiration from bullet hells than run & guns. The characters are charming and the setting of a haunted castle makes for interesting arena's and boss fights. It's not cuphead -- It's Nowhere Patrol.

I remember getting my ass kicked by Banana Nababa way back when, and Nowhere Patrol finally let me have my revenge. It's honestly not as hard as it looks, with its dashes and generously disbursed bombs. Could have done with more platforming bosses — I'd gladly miss those shmup levels in exchange. Hoping the sequel gets made one day!

Amazing game that doesn't get enough attention. Great bosses reminiscent of cuphead but with its own unique charm and aesthetic. For only €4 it’s a steal, so if you want to support a great indie dev definitely give this game a try

For a small indie title, Nowhere Patrol is a miracle of a boss rush game. The bread and butter of it is, as you surely have guessed, a continuous streak of fights against a diverse set of strong enemies. You can achiveve this by playing three characters with distinct abilities and the option to change their weaponry, which, for a game of its size, offers a relatively huge replayability. Now, onto the main stars of the game - the big bads. Their designs are unique and inspired, hitboxes are fair and no two bosses feel even remotely similar in their attack patterns, which is undoubtedly great. One thing to note is the lack of saves, which is great for players well-versed in the genre and eager to overcome the challenges. However, in my opinion, adding such an option - while a detriment to the original vision - would benefit newcomers who might otherwise be discouraged by the difficulty. In conclusion, Nowhere Patrol has become one of my favourite games of all time, and I would love for more players have discored this gem.
