Bloons TD 6 is an absolute gem in the world of tower defense games. Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned tower defense pro, Bloons TD 6 offers a challenge at every level. With dozens of unique monkey towers, each featuring multiple upgrade paths, there's no shortage of tactical depth. Choosing the right combination of heroes and tower placements can mean the difference between victory and balloon-popping defeat. The addition of hero monkeys brings a fun, RPG-like element to the game. Each hero levels up independently, and their special abilities can turn the tide of battle. They also come with quirky voice lines and distinct playstyles that add a new layer of engagement.

Very entertaining and open ended with a diverse set of potential strategies, but can get repetitive over time

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t planning to get this. Then I saw 12,000 people online mid-week, mid-day, and curiosity got the best of me. Fast-forward to me spending entire evenings optimizing monkey placements and yelling at ceramic bloons like they personally offended me. Gameplay: This is peak tower defense. Deep mechanics, tons of towers (each with unique upgrade paths), and layers of strategy that go way deeper than you’d expect from a game that looks this cheerful. Want to go casual? You can. Want to deep dive into monkey meta and min-max every tower’s DPS? Oh yeah, it's here. Content: Absolutely packed. Maps, heroes, events, co-op, challenges, game modes. I haven’t even scratched the surface and I already feel like I got more than my money’s worth. The devs update it regularly and clearly love what they’re making. This is one of those games that feels alive. Visuals & Sound: Colorful and smooth. The animations are charming, the visual clarity is solid even when chaos breaks loose on round 100+, and the sound design hits the “satisfying pop” nerve in my brain. Also: the monkey voice lines are ridiculous in the best way. Final Thoughts: I bought this out of curiosity. I stayed because it’s legitimately one of the most well-made tower defense games out there. Whether you're a newcomer or someone who still has flashbacks to Bloons TD 5 on a school computer, this is a must-play.

I used to play btd6 and the og btdb on my phone. I probably had at least a combined 200-300 hours on there. Playing btd6 again from scratch is very refreshing and I can still confidently say the bloons series is the best tower defense game. Especially with the low price and constant sales you can get it for like $3. There is no reason to not buy this game.

It's easy to learn and pretty fun. Online works well and its cool to be able to team up with friends, just please scold them when they place bad monkey towers. I more than recommend that you get this game while it's on sale, there's a lot of content to go around and unlock. It's a nice game to play to pass time as you listen to a video or podcast too, I love listening to CreepCast while grinding out levels. This has been my entry-point in the series and I've been having a lot of fun with the game. I watched most of Lucky Star while playing this game.

Highly Recommended Bloons TD 6 is a polished and addictive tower defense game that offers a surprising amount of depth beneath its colorful and lighthearted exterior. Whether you're a long-time fan of the series or new to the genre, it's an easy game to pick up—and a hard one to put down. What I liked: Huge variety of towers, upgrades, and heroes to experiment with Well-designed maps and difficulty modes that keep things fresh Frequent updates with new content, balance changes, and community events Clean, vibrant visuals and a smooth user interface Satisfying mix of casual fun and strategic complexity What could be improved: Some late-game strategies rely heavily on specific tower combinations or meta knowledge Unlocking certain content can feel grindy without using in-game currency Mobile-style monetization (cosmetics and boosts) may not appeal to everyone, even though it's optional Overall, Bloons TD 6 is a standout in the tower defense genre. It’s engaging for casual players but has enough strategic depth to satisfy those seeking a real challenge. With consistent support from the developers and tons of content to explore, it offers excellent value and countless hours of fun. A strong recommendation for both solo players and those who enjoy co-op gameplay.

Honestly one of the best tower defense games. Every game from the franchise has been a blast, it's fun to play on occassion or to grind through depending on preference. Not much to say, it's good. It's cute. Go play it

If you ever get the feeling that they don't make games like they used to, give this game a try. It will soak you with invigorating nostalgia, as if you were back in your childhood home using the family's computer to browse flash games. The flow of the game will pull you in, giving you back that intrinsic motivation you haven't felt ever since you stopped reading as a hobby. Now, those feelings are true. They were for me, at least. But there's a caveat. This game has annoying notifications that will not go away unless you complete the missions attached to it or buy the expansion/pack. Which leads me to my next point; the micro-transactions. Even after you have bought the game, BTD6 will let you know that you can buy upgrades that will help you during a run. It will also tell you about their paid adventure-like game mode. For me, this was bothersome but not enough to drive me away from enjoying the core game-play loop. But be warned about this annoyance in an otherwise great experience.

This game is so addictive and loaded with content it has legitimately gotten in the way of important real life events and has, by most metrics, completely ruined my life. It's also definitely the best tower defense game on the market, balancing and gameplay-wise. Highly recommend. Also, the Breast Handler is easily the most fun monkey in the game to use and I will die on that hill.
