Unfortunately I'm going to have to down vote this game. I really wanted to play the game but right when I load it up i get black lines all over the place and cant do anything without seeing them everywhere. Trying to play it on windows headset so I'm not sure if that's why. I had a similar bug one other time on richie's plank experience and was not able to fix it. Will have to refund if I can't find a solution.

played on vive and found the movement very nauseating as there was no press down of trackpad but only touching of it. I am a avid curler IRL and found it fun would be better if there was after you releced the rock you would stick to it and the movement would be done for you. 6/10 only needs better movement

This game has the most awful and counter-intuitive user interface and controller setup I've ever seen. It is unplayable for me and the tutorial is not helpful, you cannot ever try yourself during the tutorial, plus the description is not clear and confusing. I don't understand why developers do not adhere to best practise and standards how to move in VR and how to interact with the world. The game as such might be even fun if the developer re-works the controller usage appropriately but in the current stage I cannot recommend it. It is just frustrating. I played with an HP Reverb G2.

This game is fantastic!
I live in rural Australia where the closest thing to ice is the occasional frost on the grass during winter. BUT... I love Curling and regularly watch it on YouTube.
The mechanics feel right, the graphics and audio are great, the movement of the stones is perfect, and the game has a nice little stadium crowd environment as well. When I saw that sweeping was available, I thought it would be gimmicky but it totally feels legit.
There's a great little lobby where you can pick your options, game-mode etc. There's a small curling model where you can see the house, hog line etc. (so cool) and the game also has practice missions so you can learn how to sweep and throw stones. The AI is great too.
I'll probably never get to play Curling in real life so a MASSIVE thanks to the developer for creating such an amazing experience. The VR experience is incredibly immersive.
I can totally recommend if you have any interest in Curling!
Specs: Quest 2, PCVR with Air Link.

I love to curl. I am TERRIBLE at it, and there is no ice close. This game scratches a very good itch! The weights feel great, and it is as rewarding and frustrating as hitting the button or flying through the back of the house. The game has fun challenges to teach you how to throw and sweep! For a game for $2.50, I've waaaaaay more than gotten my money's worth. I did get a little tired because the game requires you to be low to the ground (like real curling), but I was able to sit and throw just fine. If at first you don't get it, keep trying! Work on not only your forward speed, but what your distance to the hog line is when you release. :)

By far already one of my favourite sport games on the Vive, and I have only played about 8 ends so far. Needless to say this is definitely the best VR Curling game (maybe even the only one?), and the best part is I don't even watch nor play curling.
Only had one or two issues so far with the touch pads detecting input without being touched, but for all I know that could be a Vive thing. It's definitely a nice touch to add a sensitivity slider to them because that helps tremendously.
Physics aren't quite there in regard to the rocks being a little too alive sliding on the ice when they begin to slow down close to the house in my humble opinion, but they are tenfold better than I expected for a Vive game.
Keep up the awesome work! Excited to see what additions come to this game in the future.

You know, I bought VR to like explore Skyrim in all it's Glory, reinact my army days of fumbling to reload a magazine while being shot in or around my face, to have new experiences like shooting anthropromorphic sausages with realistic weaponry, and to watch pornography in high definition and multiple dimensions.
But for some reason I've found that it's the little experiences that keep me coming back. Forklift Simulator 2019, which is a real thing. Or making pottery in VR. These are the things I actually tend to spend most of my hours on even though I had no interest in them. I practiced BADMITTON for like 4 hours the other day.
And then we have Curling. The universal joke of the olympics, the "what can we make that's more lame then bowling" of sports, and yet again here I find myself just wanting to put down Contractors and Onward and Pavlov, and just brush some ice.
This isn't even meant as a funny or sarcastic review even though it's kind of tongue and cheek. If you are like me and notice you like to do things in VR that aren't your usual hardcore gaming stuff but for whatever reason relaxing, then this is the droid you are looking for. It's simple, very well done, and cheap as hell. I'm going to rate this with the official Dj Khallid "If you don't have any idea what the rules of curling are but aren't playing this pretending like you do, then really you just played yourself fam". 5/7, a perfect score.
