Bought it during a sale, and what seemed like a joke game turned out to be quite the challenging platformer.
It starts to get a bit frustrating in some levels around midway through the campaign - just when I thought I got good at it, the game whoops my ass.
It's good in short bursts as a side activity while listening to/watching something, otherwise it might get a bit too frustrating (though, obviously, your mileage may vary)

I paid 1.13 CAD. This game is great. If you have children or psychedelics, it is worth time and resources. 10 outta 10. Controller support is a little lacking, if that matters *coughing "Snowflake!"*. So check it out, unless you are alone with no psychedelics, then this will not help your life.

Absolutely adore this game. Can't believe it hasn't become more popular. I've made it through the first 20 levels up to this point, but want to see it the whole way through. Love the aesthetic, soundtrack, design, the odd vibes -- everything.

Its a fun, simple, polished little game where what you see is what you get. It's made by the same guy as Mount your Friends and Mount your Friends 3D and the similarities are obvious like the non traditional platforming and character design. I've been spending a fair amount of time with the game while listening to streams or podcasts which it has been perfect for. Bound Up & Squirming has offered me strong simple gameplay mechanics and fair challenge I'll probably play it all the way through which has become more of a rarity with the large amount of games being released every month. If you have Mount your Friends 3D you should have automatically gotten a coupon for the game that takes off a dollar or so to the games already small price point. The game is far beyond worth the price of admission especially since it's $5.69 Canadian. Check it out if you want something simple and fun to play while consuming other entertainment or are interested in weird platformers.

Never in my life has there been a time more well-spent, and important, as the time spent playing this leisure activity, developed by and with the power of God himself. A masterpiece; name, developer title, visuals, all of it. Remarkable. Graphically outmatches that of all AAA games, and hundred-million dollar budget films. Playing this, I felt the pain of throwing my mother out of a skyscraper window alleviated. Gone. Deceased, just like my mother. The game is made from pure dopamine and Oxytocin. Indeed, this game impregnated me, a male, with what I can only describe as the next Jesus Christ. This game is THAT good. 69/10.

scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as "positive reviews" go but this is still somewhat enjoyable and thus earns a recommendation from me.

Frustratingly pleasant. It's a pretty simple game that takes a lot of practice to master and complete. I look forward to squirming for many more hours!

If you can find this game on sale for around half off (which is what I got it for..) it's a no-brainer purchase. It's also a no-brainer game, more than less.. with a simple mechanic of basically hopping around like one of those old school 'spring / suction' toys. You hold the jump button down to attach to the surface of the game's various difficult (and Q-Bert esque geometrically-shaped) platforms, as you approach the level's exit.
Outside of that, there are not many gameplay elements. Precision jumps and intentional 'bellyflops' to orient the tripping balls main character on each platform bring about some complexity I wasn't expecting.
The game looks great and its smooth, funny animation was something I wasn't expecting booting the game up at all. The player character's design is animated great, with funny results when he rams his head too hard into various surfaces. Unfortunately, the game's backgrounds are quite bland by comparison. Funny-looking pillars smiling at you are cool, but their lack of variety (as well as the for lack of a better expression "shit-shaped floating things") in the background not leading to a different set of background objects to space out staring at are unfortunate.
All in all I enjoyed most all of my time spent with this game. I was streaming it at the time so my enjoyment might have been skewed to feel rushed to progress rather than having it booted up at a more chill pace.
Great, funny, simple game with good animation on the main character. I hope the developers are able to put their animation and zany character design into other titles.

If you didn't like the spring mushroom in Mario Galaxy, you probably won't like this game unless you really like seeing Wallace & Gromit characters in eternal anguish.

Childish I know, but this game is total nostalgia for me... Spongebob Battle For Bikini Bottom. Have you ever played it? This game reminds me of the platforming sections in that game where you roll around as the ball version of Spongebob. Totally buy this game whether or not you played SBFBB before! It's almost like a relaxing more 3D version of BLOXORZ if you've ever played that flash game before because you have control of the main camera so you can look around and things like that. There's more than that though, there's also cute aesthetically pleasing AI characters that will hop around randomly. Simple and i'll give you if you say so, 'dumb', but not a bad dumb. No, it's like a funny type of dumb : )
I say buy. I mean, it's a cheap game. If I'm willing to buy $200+ pants, $4-5 should be nothing to me nor anyone else so just support this game's dev.
