A decently competent hidden object game. One very weird quirk is how "linear" the game is. What I mean is that even if you find key items in places, you're not allowed to pick them up until you have an explicit reason to. Same thing with locked doors in a different sense. At one point, you can't do anything with a certain door. Two item actions later, you suddenly can interact with it and can then look for the key or whatever. This all makes for some rather annoying backtracking to constantly look at areas you've already looked at but were restricted before from doing something. To somewhat counter this, there is a very helpful "Area Complete" message that appears once that area no longer holds any use. There was only 1 instance where this was incorrect.
Visuals are rather low quality, which makes the hidden object scenes harder than they should be, especially on larger screens. There is also a distinct lack of music; it'll play for a minute or 2, and then it'll be largely silent outside of SFX for a period of time. Despite this, the story kept me engaged and the gameplay was still fun enough to keep going to the end. Has 4 chapters worth of content, good for 3-4 hours. Debatable if $12 is worth it or not.

I want to like this game... but the back and forth in the game has hit a ridiculous level, and most of it just doesn't make sense. It will mark an area clear, only to have an area past that one open up from a secret door later. If there's another door, the area isn't clear.
