Classy Artwork.
Simple Jigsaw Puzzles with a 'dark' alluring medieval theme.
Generous snaps to correct location.
Too dark in brightness, tones and background.
Many times, can't even see or spot the last missing location to fit in.
Hold your breathe and race against a ticking counter.
Not relaxing if chasing achievements or stars.
Be smart and save time by attempting 192 pieces at first try,
succeeding would unlock all four other lesser difficulty as well.
Playable.

Wow, this is fun. There are only a few puzzles but they come with different number of pieces. These honeys are very hot, and there is no lewdness so far, which is good. This is a very relaxing puzzle game.

Dark Fantasy: Jigsaw Puzzle is a great puzzle game that's a lot of fun. I can only recommend it.
The game contains 20 different puzzles. Each puzzle can be played with 12, 24, 48, 96 or 192 pieces. Each completion unlocks one achievement.
Puzzles with up to 96 pieces are more or less easy. But puzzles with 192 pieces can be challenging, especially those that only use one basic color tone.
Pros:
- great fantasy art with beautiful ladies
- 20 different puzzles
- play with 12, 24, 48, 96 or 192 pieces
- good music
- gallery (for completed puzzles)
- playing with a higher number of pieces also unlocks the achievements for the less number of pieces of the same puzzle
- the puzzles gradually get more difficult
- very satisfying challenge with 192 pieces
Cons:
- because of the many parts you sometimes pick the wrong piece when playing with 192 pieces

From indie developer, and publisher, Naisu, with their line of mostly puzzle, hentai games, comes Dark Fantasy: Jigsaw Puzzle. The first one in a series of three Dark Fantasy games.
This is the most basic jigsaw puzzle games can get. The pieces can not be rotated, hence they are always correctly orientated next to the puzzle layout field. They are not moving or floating around in the drawing space, like they for instance do in Pixel Puzzles. And they snap / slot into place way to easily. Though, the dark nature and composition of the puzzles make them challenging enough.
Art-style is dark-fantasy as the title represents. The girls and scenes depicted are gorgeous, made by talented artist Jose del Nido. Twenty different art-puzzles are available.
The music is dark as well, somewhat mesmerizing and compelling. Though there is not enough variation, which makes you want to run your favorite music in the background. There is no option to do this in-game, however.
Twenty different puzzles have to be completed five times, ranging from 12, 24, 48, 96 and 192 pieces each, to achieve the perfect game counting 100 achievements. Something that can be done occasionally during a coffee break, eventually completing all puzzles for a total of about 15 hours of puzzling. There are guides available as well, in the Community Hub, for those who want to cheat the game into easy and fast completion of the puzzles. Which makes this game suitable for achievement hunters as well.
To conclude, I had a great time relaxing while playing Dark Fantasy: Jigsaw Puzzle. Every now and then when I felt the need to relieve stress, I played one 192 puzzle, followed by some fewer pieces puzzles, effectively granting me 3 to 5 achievements every time.
Recommend for: jigsaw puzzlers, dark fantasy lovers and achievement hunters.
Cheers,
SultanK

Stunningly beautiful. The puzzles come in 12 pieces, 24, 48, 96 and 192. The music is captivating too, that suit the images. Always being a big fan of jigsaw puzzles, I really enjoyed these ones in particular. It had that fairytale appeal to it.

Pretty pictures but they're often very muddy and monotone but you can keep solving puzzles by letting the game automatically grab the piece once you try it close enough to the right spot. The game doesn't allow for you to combine pieces outside the field and the field has a dim version of the picture you're assembling that you can't disable. The game pretty much strips the enjoyable aspects of puzzle solving and just reduces it to dragging and dropping.
You'd think that it's pretty hard to fuck up making a jigsaw puzzle game but gosh darn it these guys succeeded.

I love the art in this game. The puzzles are nice, and the mechanics are nice as well.
There's a feature that will outline the pieces so you can see them against the dark background better.

tl:dr Unless you're opposed to puzzles in general - or images of attractive women partially clothed, it's going to be really hard to go wrong. This $2 program far exceeded my expectations.
For the asking price I wondered if something might be wrong with this puzzle game. Or at least, not up to par. Not really, unless you count only 20 images. The pictures are nice quality. The sound and visual effects are very good. I only noticed a couple of minor issues.
One interesting aspect I've nto run into before is the game has par times for each puzzle (and each size of puzzle). I feel like the par times are a bit too long. They don't offer a lot of challenge to beat. That can be nice if you don't feel like reworking the puzzle and do want the three gold stars though.
My only real complaint about the program is that each picture can be finished in several sizes ranging from 12 pieces to 192. I'd rather have a variety of images with one puzzle size. I'm really not interested in working the same image over and over. This isn't the only puzzle game that does that - it seems to be a "thing" with many of them. On the plus side, if you're after the achievements, finishing the puzzle in the largest size does give you the achievements for the other sizes as well.
At the time of this review I've only spent half an hour with the game, but it's quite simple and straight forward. The pictures are high enough quality to more than warrant the asking price.
The sound and graphics effects are quite good. There is a nifty lava effect when dropping pieces in that looks cool too. There isn't much music and it's noticable that it repeats every few minutes. The music that is there isn't bad though.
If I was going to be nit-picky, I'd also mention that particularly on the largest size, part of the edge pieces are covered by frame of the picture when they are dropped in. It's really not a big deal and I debated even mentioning it...
+ Graphics - Interface is simple and pleasant to look at. Neat effect when dropping pieces into a puzzle.
+ Images - Reasonably high quality. From what I've seen so far, there's no compression artifacts.
+ Audio - Decent sounds get the job done.
- Music - What there is, is ok. But there's not much of it.
- No audio volume slider. You can use windows volume of course, but any program should have it's own.
Overall I very much recommend! Would be wonderful if more types of fantasy images were released as dlc. Either way, this is a steal for the price.

OK This is one of those Pixel Puzzles clones, but with dark medieval fantasy theme! This game proves you do not need cheap Nude adult artworks.
The game has 20 puzzles. Each puzzle has 5 rounds basically set as puzzles in various pieces - 12,. 24, 48, 96 and 192. So there is an achievement per each so you get 20 x 5 = 100 Achievements. There is also a timer if you want to challenge yourself and get 3 stars in 192 pieces. 12 pieces has 45 seconds and 192 pieces 25 minutes. You can choose to play normally without timer and can disable it in Menu. Good thing is if you directly finish 192 piece ones you don't need play lesser piece versions of same and can unlock all 5 achievements at a go. [Like if you play a game Hard Mode all achievements for Easy Mode get unlocked]. Thankfully you can click button and outline all pieces to see clearly where they are. The puzzle box gives a faint preview of image so same you can judge better. If you by now lack patience for such massive Jigsaw games like me, then stack pieces up [like in the Pixel Puzzles], up on top of one other on a board corner, and pull out nearly sequenced pieces trick also works. 15 Minutes per biggest puzzle!
Reasons to Buy: - can buy at sale cheap under a buck! 3 Trading cards. 100% perfect game 100 Achievements. And really Beautiful Fantasy Women Art Gallery. Tons of those cheap adult Hentai games lack good Artworks.
SUGGESTION TO DEVELOPERS: MY ONLY COMPLAIN ON THESE JIGSAW GAMES IS ANYTHING ABOVE 80-100 PIECES FEELS PUNISHMENT, IS NOT REALLY GOOD GAMEPLAY AND QUITE BORING! Developers to add more hours to game please add more artworks, not more pieces to artworks!
