Cool artstyle, soft calming atmosphere. Leaves nostalgic feeling from 90s. P.S. You can shag a cat.

Mad Cats: World Act 1 is a bizarre yet fantastic experience. The art style immediately grabbed my attention with its vibrant colors and surreal feel. The story is weird and unpredictable, but that’s exactly what makes it so entertaining. The cats are charming and their adventures are full of strange humor and unexpected twists. It’s definitely not your typical game, and that’s what makes it stand out. Perfect for anyone who enjoys something a little different and loves some crazy cat antics! Eagerly wating for Act 2!

This game is definitely a strange one, but strange in a good way, the graphics, game-play and dialogue is certainly not something that you would see in a regular game, but once you start playing, you really get immersed in the story. Highly recommend to anyone with a sense of humor!

Mildly entertaining, but kinda slow and clunky. A few bugs and distracting misspellings.

This isn't the best game, but I think it's good enough. The graphics are fantastic. The story is... weird. It takes place in the future, so it's natural that there are lots of "weird" things, but parts of it just feel too chaotic. And why is the cat named WhyNot? I feel like you need some actual reason in order to give a character such a weird name, but unless I missed some critical detail by playing in Russian, which I'm not that great at, there's no explanation, so it just kind of feels like "wackiness for the sake of wackiness." But I think the game is still good enough. And the awesome graphics make it feel good to play.

Amateurish, unpolished, and uninteresting. Couldn't get into it. The art makes it look promising, but gameplay is meh. Especially annoying how around the start you walk into a dark house, but for some reason the protagonist has no interest in finding a light switch and you have to manage with very low visibility for a while.

Extremely small and easy game. It is only the first act and I'm not sure if the other acts will ever get released. Multiple translation errors. The puzzles can hardly even be called puzzles, since they don't require you to think. The storyline is kinda funny. I'm just hoping that the other acts, if they ever get released, will be much better. I'm giving it a positive review, because I'm hoping that they'll get more sales, so that they'll improve their game in the next acts. Till next time, don't forget to point & click!

A fun, traditional Point and Click game! Cats! We have cats that need saved! Mix one-part cat, one-part clever story and dialogue, another part art and then game mechanics and you have Mad Cats World +Story +Graphics/Art +Puzzles +Game Mechanics This review is based on playing the beta version of the first act in: Mad Cats World.m My play time was about 2.5 hours, so I thought a very fair price for a quality game. The dev has written an accurate description of the game; I’ll let you read that rather than go into it. The dialogue and story are smart and funny. The artwork is great, I had no crashes, bugs, nothing. You have a manual or auto-save function, your inventory is on the top of the screen when you hover. This game has great mechanics, this dev even took the time to explain them! That is a beef I have with some devs. I want to jump right in and not have to learn that they have redesigned “point and click” gaming. I always knew what my objective was, I didn’t need a walk-through to figure out what I was doing. Great game from a new dev and I happily await the next chapter!

A lighthearted point&click adventure from a small team, slightly underdeveloped as a result. The first episode is about 50-60 minutes not counting decent achievement support, so it may require 2 playthroughs if you want to grind those. There are places where the experience could be improved, I still feel like it needs more sound effects in some areas, and the walking speed seems too fast. I usually don't ask for voice acting in this genre, however, I think it would benefit the game just because I enjoyed the jokes so much, and I wish they were narrated. I thought the puzzles were good, but they can be a little confusing if you don't realize that you can disassemble some objects. Surprisingly, the dialogue was very fun, there are not many characters, but they have enjoyable personalities, and the game made me chuckle the whole time (granted I get amused very easily). It's nice that some puzzles involve trolling people in the dialogue, these days the developers rarely go for that, it's something you would see a lot of in the 90s. The animation is pretty good for a small team, maybe it's not comparable to games that are made with 80+ people, but the locations are very detailed and it's easy to tell the objects apart. Also, I think the developer did a good job making different kinds of puzzles, including some mini-games, additionally, I never felt too frustrated trying to solve them.
Pros:
+ I liked the jokes and characters + I liked the puzzle variety + decent animation, nice detail + hotspot indicator + many achievements
Feedback:
Lacking some sound effects - I still find that some effects do not have a sound associated with them, that can make the game feel worse than it actually is. Even if you move something around it's nice to have a sound Q. Only because I enjoyed the writing and jokes, it would also benefit from voice acting if you can get someone who can give it justice. Character speed - his walking speed is unusually fast, like twice as fast as any game that I played in this genre. If possible, I would lower it by 1/5, if not, it's not a huge problem. He walks faster than most people can run, just looks a little weird. On a side note, if you change the language to 'Meow' it should be obvious how to change it back.
Overall Thoughts:
It's a little short but I like it so far, with a little polish it could be a good game. I am glad that the price is not too high, $4-5 is what I would consider the maximum amount for 60 minutes of content. Just try to work on those sound effects and I will keep buying these, voice acting would be a huge bonus if we can get there.
