What about Logistical 2 ... That it's my favorite logistical? Highly possible! It is played extremely well, the addition of business to unlock the cities, allows to progress little by little city after city, county after county, but for that we need some resources, which for some requires to prioritize an other city etc ... The new road system, we like it or we do not like it, I think it makes the game more complete visually, sometimes we are a little surprised by the journey that takes our trucks when we want to make a city , for that it is necessary to zoom, there are small arrows which indicate us the direction of the roads etc ... so either one makes a city quickly or one prepares it, each one his game. In short I would say that, whether or not you have previously done a logistical, it will bring you a good experience.

LOGistICAL series is a bunch of games where you drag trucks on a map to send resources from towns with industries to other towns. There are a lot of modules already each representing different countries or USA states and each of them has slightly different mechanics and puzzle parts, like quarantines, building restrictions, plane lines, different sizes of roads, etc. This LOGistICAL 2 game contains three tutorials from L1 and L2 series, free XMas 2017 module (nodes represent whole countries with enourmous requirements and without consumption), ABC Islands module from L1 (Aruba, Bonaire and Curasao islands with easy towns, kinda like demo module for L1 to introduce new players to mechanics), free Suriname module (few town and a lot of businesses with very small requirement which unlock new industries all over the place) and Indonesia-Bali (first part of the Indonesia module which is being sold using microtransactions model inside the game). For beginners I recommend starting with one of the tutorials or going straight into the ABC Island module. For people who are familiar with the series already Suriname and Indonesia modules could be fun and new experience. And for people who want long term game which you can play passively while playing other games or modules I recommend XMas 2017 module. Overall the game is really interesting, it is very relaxing to complete town after town (some modules have 1000+ towns) and slowly upgrade you industries, fix roads and expand your resource network. It is worth checking out at least for the free modules. If you are going for some more modules, do some research, read description in store more carefully or ask on forum to understand how each module is different from the rest to find one that suits you better.

LOGistICAL 2 features a much more complex road map and more things to complete than its predecessor. This game also introduced a lot of bugs which were not present in the original game, however at this point most of these have been fixed and the developer is very quick to update the game if you report any problems on the discord server. The gameplay is still very similar to the first game; while hard to get into at first, it is very satisfying to work towards completion. If you're not sure whether you like it there are free modules available to try it out. I very much enjoy the game as it fills a niche I didn't know existed at first, and offers more content than well over 99% of games out there, and I always look forward to a new module's release.

this is a very interesting puzzle/strategy game w/ TONS of content. the main objective is to deliver goods to various places using a plethora of vehicles & figure out ways to make this easier as one progresses. at times it will seem overwhelming, however, a solution is always available. and there are many Steam discussion posts available to help a player & a Discord community as well. while the game has a sort of "standard" play design for each module/map, every module has a unique set of parameters to figure out & there is always a challenge- no matter which module you choose. this isn't really an "idler" type of game, it could be seen that way at times because certain approaches to a particular solution may take some time- especially when starting a new module. if you are looking for a casual yet challenging game, the likes of which you've probably never played before, check out this game.

Not a game for everyone, but if it's for you, you'll find there are hundreds of hours of play to be found. Be sure to check out ALL the games by this dev and educate yourself on how the Dev has refined their formula over time. Personally, I like the older games as some of the newer features add more complexity than I could comfortably cope with. There are several "scenarios" that are Free here on Steam, so again, look through the Dev's catalog and try out the Free tutorials and smaller scenarios. If you play the free stuff and want more, there is A LOT more to be had at reasonable prices.

Much more complex than L1. The added businesses and two way roads, alone make this a great enhancement to L1. Road upgrades are interesting, though I have not seen an interesting use of them yet, aside from allowing truck types to traverse. As with L1, UI could use some love from a designer. Map redraw is a huge problem. Lots of times I have to pan the map a few times just to get it to redraw roads.

I wasn't sure if i was going to stick with the game originally, only because the UI when you first start a module it takes a little bit to get used too. But i'm very glad I decided to stick with it. Every Module = Country, Your trucking company is responsible for delivering goods to industry as well as towns. You will also have roads to fix. Many roads with many different resources which you have to locate on that countries map. Sounds easy doesn't it. Well, that's not always the case, because sacada the developer always has tricks or puzzles up his sleeve. Some puzzles aren't to difficult, and some have me dumbfounded, like hmmm, how do i handle this wrinkle. For me this is one of the things about the game I really enjoy. The puzzles, can be anything like finding oil, or wood, or steel which is in high demand, or it could be obstacles like quarantines. Or how do i unlock an industry i need and have to fill. How many trucks will it take to fill what the population wants and fill it before the population uses it all. This is just some of the examples of some of the puzzles. The Logistical games start out slow, but over time you gain speedups to make the job of moving your trucks and your industry products faster. Now that i've played awhile and got used to how the UI works, this game has become one of my favorite games on steam. I love the challenges sacada puts in the game. Actually all his games. No matter what country you decide to play you'll have puzzles to face, and some countries will have different puzzles to figure out. Delivering your goods to your industries and fixing roads are in all the games. And what i will say about the Developer sacada, this man is very dedicated to his games. He fixes bugs when they crop up. He's always working on the next country he wants to put out. Score: 9/10

I am really enjoying this game. Much of the time played is AFK, as I sometimes have to step away while routes run. Then I get sidetracked and watch a movie, and forget I left the game running. I played some of the original, but the IRL map data makes it different to where I won't go back, but rather wait for the old content to be retrofit to the new format. A couple tips. 1. Beware the 1-way streets to getting trucks trapped. Sometimes you have to either sell the truck or use a smaller truck to fix the road. 2. Back to point 1, sometimes a partially loaded truck will get stuck behind a restricted route. If you instruct the truck to dump it's entire load, it can deadhead on the lighter roads. If the truck is stuck with a partial load, you can cancel the load for a smaller penalty than selling and rebuying. A couple of wishes. 1. some way to click-lock a selection, so I don't have to keep the key pressed while dragging the truck to the destination. Either click lock and drag, or click-select, right click to deploy. 2. I wish there were a clear or clearer indicator to show when a town has been partially completed. That is, if a town needs water, newspapers and motorcycles, and I have a truck full of newspapers, but a town already has motorcycles, then that town should show, I dunno, purple, white, some color other than orange or green. Green will show if the town already has what you are carrying. But nothing will show which towns are partially completed. Make sense? To put it plain, if a town requires X, Y and Z, but is already filled with X, and if my truck has Y or Z, it should have some way to distinguish such a town. But, so far, definitely eating up my time. OH Please fix the music.

This review was done against the "Washington" module. I had a whole long review here before Steam ate it so here's the short version since I don't want to rewrite the whole thing (seriously Steam?). Runs awful, is missing tons of quality of life features, freezes all the time, excessively complex in a way that's not terribly interesting or puzzling, extremely ugly, and overall a step down from the first game. Specific pain points are locking basic materials in annoying and hard to reach places (imo this should be reserved for more advanced industries, so there's a progression from basic -> advanced cargo), too much topographical detail (zoom in to upgrade the three pixel section of road you couldn't see!), and a lack of basic automation features besides "repeat task". Overall, there is a lack of design clarity which severely hurts this game. I'm going to keep playing. But the developer of this series needs to take a step back and do some serious QOL work on these titles. I've been playing them for years and they always have the same frustrating UX issues.
