I aint gonna bother. This game is so unreadable it hurts to look at. Pros: neat gameplay! i like it! if i could see anything that is... , The song selection especially in the dlc is good! Cons: lacks options. Like....with other games i never had issues i had with this game in specific...why? BECAUSE ALL OF THEM HAD BASIC CUSTOMIZE OPTIONS. this is a joke. no dim background slider, nothin. the contrast between backgrounds and notes lowkey hurts to look at, ESPECIALLY on the higher difficulties to the point its unplayable. Also the Scoring system is weird. I aint gonna even bother, im getting a refund. this is some shit.

Actually much better than what I was expecting for 4 bucks. I don't remember when or why I bought it, but it was probably as a joke due to Nekopara's opening being in the base game. The base game has some banger songs that I loved playing and there's a bunch of DLC songs that are awesome. I haven't bought any DLC though.

Okay so.. If I'm completely honest, I have mixed feelings regarding MUSYNX... I've been playing VSRGs since somewhere around late 2017.. I bought it back in 2021, played for like an hour, and kept it there in my library collecting dust for over 3 years, I recently decided to give it another shot and here's what I have to say... Tbh, as a way to get into VSRGs, this game is awesome, there are plenty of songs included with the base game for you to learn how to properly play, and there are quite a few bangers too! The charts are also well put together, I had fun playing a few of the ones that were included in the base game, but, as I checked for the 'harder' stuff, i was actually disappointed... The 'Hard' maps are way too easy for my taste, there are few 'Inferno' difficulties and they're honestly quite good even if they're still a little bit too easy; I just wish there were a few more of those (and also harder ones) included within the main game... Regarding skins, and this section is purely personal preference tbh, I really didn't like the fact that you can't play any other skin that isn't bars, I prefer arrows over bars—while I can adjust, I wish MUSYNX offered alternative note styles like arrows, circles, or diamonds, I also would've wished that the skins were a little more readable, 90% of the 2d skins had a little something (like the effects when pressing a key that blocked half the playfield) that made it a lot harder for me to properly read, and also being forced to play without any background dim whatsoever (or at least i couldnt find a way to make the background dimmer) didn't help either... Overall, MUSYNX is a really great game if you want to get into VSRGs with plans to jump into harder rhythm games as you progress, even I can't recommend it for players that are already experienced with 4K or 7K in general... If I'm completely honest, I dont see myself choosing MUSYNX over other VSRGs like FFR or osu!mania... I honestly clicked ‘Do Not Recommend’ only because Steam doesn’t offer a middle ground—if you’re a beginner, I’d recommend it; if you’re experienced, I wouldn’t..

I like the simplicity of a classic ds 4-6k,, its a decent game with a small collection of alright songs. the base game is extremely limited so you end up buying the dlc anyway. WITH THAT BEING SAID!! a good amount of the "art" in game is actually AI generated,, quite badly/obviously at that,, and they still have credits to the "illustrator" of the generated works. theres also a few songs with AI generated vocals: not like miku voicebank usage or anything, literal AI generated vocals. and theyre not even good songs. the low price of the main game and simplicity suck you in, then you pay for AI generated content with the DLC. eugh. I won't be gifting or recommending this game to anyone further. just play piano tiles or go to the arcade.
