If you are a fan of Crusader Kings and epic Scandinavian Metal, then this is a must-buy. Only 4 songs, but great Crusader Kings themed music.

Perhaps the best music dlc paradox has put out. I think 4 dollars for 4 songs is a fair price, and it fits nicely into the game as well (especially if you play as a pagan or Christian).

Easily one of the best non-gameplay DLCs out there for CK2. While it is true that the songs from this particular pack are played a lot, they push the soundtrack as a whole above and beyond compared to what it is without this pack. For anyone unsure whether or not this would sound weird ingame, I can suggest hitting up the content on a certain video sharing plattform.

I'm always a fan of new awesome music coming to Crusader Kings II. Pagan Fury does not disappoint. Pagan Fury has a unique sound that, although certainly not period music, fits in well with the atmosphere of the game. I'm looking forward to hearing them release new songs for the CKII soundtrack in the future.

It is "just" four songs, each 4-ish minutes long. It is very specific kind of music, quite different from others I would say - but considering the price I would say it is a decent deal. Basicaly, what you see is what you get :-) I have yet to hear it ingame, but based on previous music pack, it is often refreshing to hear different music. If you are collector of CK2 packs and/or know and like the band, I recommend. Otherwise though... but this apply to any music pack anyways.

Music is much louder than the other songs and plays much more often than other songs, making it both jarring and annoying.

its good music to be sure, I do like it well enough. fact is I really loved it the first few dozen hours I was playing norse. BUT, it does get old faster than you may expect, and once it does, the lyrics become extremely cringy. fact is that you can get better musical offerings in the same thematic vein from the ragnarok music mod. bands like danheim scratch the pagan itch with allot more success and production value. I really do wish steam had middling reviews for instances like this, because I feel I got my moneys worth but after a relatively short time I find myself skipping all the new songs. So its a reluctant no from me.
