+ good graphics + traffic is done well + optimal optimization - really poor controls

Go Cabbies, somehow a game, is embarrassingly unplayable. The controlling in the "game" is absolute garbage and incredibly infuriating. I rest my case.

Ok it does need work but it's got a good start just needs polishing for one thing better pick up brakes slightly loosened and you are going to get more good replies its missing something else though im not to sure what that is well its missing a lot really but i mean that something extra that would really bring the players to you, maybe have to sides of the coin, Good Guy everyday taxi driver or the bad selling drugs or gangland taxi driver running prostituts and so on. making it a little more earthy if you get my gist daylight--Mr smith every day man but at night Mr hard rip me off and i rip your +*"# off.......Just a thought no one has done this yet and i love a good london gang game just not enough of them......

An interesting concept but the execution is extremely poor. Car handling is an utter joke - worse than arcade. Just no feel at all. Can't configure the controls either.

Is this game still being developed? I do enjoy playing this game from time to time and i find it somewhat enjoyable however there is a lot of things in this game that still need work. Mainly i have yet to find out how to take the test to get the next licence as there is no prompt or any information that i could find online. The second thing is the population of vehicles in this game is a bit Jank (Cars spawning right in front of me causing me to crash.) Also the AI needs to learn how to drive. i constantly get cars ramming into the back of me while i am driving at the speed limit or at a red light. Speaking of red lights they should be more realistic. having lights change from red to green then a few seconds later switching back to red is unrealistic. All in all if this game is still being developed then i hope to see what the developer has in store. If however it has been abandoned then the seller should think about reducing the price on steam as the game is a bit pricey for what it is. Final note: It would be cool to have a game which is like American/European Truck simulator but for taxi cabs. where you could start your own taxi company. If this game was to turn out like that i would think it would be really fun to play.

Game is abandoned. Came back to it as a timewaster, unable to move my car. Devs have been unresponsive since 2021. Nor given any care or consideration.

very average driving game PROS - nice to have a taxi game on steam - in car radio is great, lots of UK stations - dev just updated the game so improvements may still happen - wheel support added(not tested) CONS - cant rotate camera with controller only with mouse - braking is very sensitive - the route the GPS gives you is bizzare thought it does get you there in the end, better to work out the route yourself most of the time - cars pull out in front of you even when you have a green light as of Feb 2021 4/10

yes i love the game when u get to know how to play the game worth the money also there loads of bugs to be sort out as well still a good game sort these bug if you sort the bugs out it a good game

Recommending this mainly because taxi simulators really aren't at all a thing. This functions but only barely, so if you're after a game which allows you to pick up and drop off people in a fairly detailed if generic rain-drenched city while listening to smooth jazz (or anything else) on the car radio it's not half bad. There are tons of different vehicles to use, all the way from economy cars to classic English black cabs and even a knockoff Escalade. Sadly many of the old negative reviews are still fairly accurate. The car handling is sketchy at best on the larger vehicles and will see you hopping curbs unintentionally quite often. AI traffic sometimes vanishes or inexplicably cartwheels across intersections. Many of the achievements track correctly in-game but do not trigger on Steam. Borderline worth it. Had this stayed in Early Access and received another six months or so of patches it'd almost certainly be a far better game.

Pros: - Great graphics - Great concept. - But that's about it. Cons: - The handling is absoulete garbage. - Practice mode only has you following the lines, implement some sort of dialouge to help remember the route by heart. - Needs more added vehicles, including minivans as well as graphics to show your a taxi. - In practice mode, if you don't get in your lane before the starting line, your vehicle flips. All in all, I understand this game is an early access game, so hoping to see more improvements in the future. At this point in time, I would not recommend this game. It's overpriced for what it is at this point in time.
