MIni Golf Buddies is, unfortunately, a perfect storm of all the elements that I hate in a game. Music and sound effects are either on or off, no volume control. Controls are reasonably straightforward, but on some holes the dividing line between success and disaster is both razor thin and unmarked. Customization is minimal -- there is no option to run in a window rather than full screen, and it's not a game that requires full screen for its blocky graphics.
Most--and worst--of all, it stops you every few holes begging for a 5-star review; after the third one, I clicked on the option for 1-4 stars and rather than being allowed to leave a less-than-five-star rating, I was asked to email them with what I thought was wrong with it rather than being allowed to leave a rating.
If you don't want less-than-best reviews, don't ask for reviews. Not everyone's going to love your game 100%; if you can't deal with that concept, you're in the wrong business. And then pretending to allow feedback, and then only allowing the best possible feedback, is dishonest.
There are better minigolf games out there. I recommend all of those instead.

I love minigolf games, and don't have high standards, but there is a few subpar elements that kind of hurt the game.
* It's buggy. Randomly the mouse doesn't appear on the screen. Trust me it's not my mouse, the game just gets weird about it.
* The easings of the ball motion feel strange.
* It's a 3-Star mobile port. Not a deal breaker, but comes across cheap.
* It's 4x3 resolution. Kind of weird considering most mobile is closer to 16:9. Guess they only had the one
* No controller support and half baked keyboard support. You can exit, but you can't accept with the keyboard. There is no left-right or up down toggles for menu. Either would have been preferable to mouse play, even though aiming / power of shots is fairly confident.
* No spin or advanced obstacle objects.
I was hoping to get a taste of that Kirby golf game feel, but this didn't quite cut it. If there is more complexity and challenge later on, I won't end up getting ther.
