A fantastic concept, poorly executed. Poor explanation of game mechanics, frustrating UI. In many aspects, it reminds me of Crusader Kings 2: a lot of menus and notifications, but it can overwhelming quickly. Only difference is that CK2 is a game you can play after a bit of trial and error. But Secret Government? It's just frustrating to deal with.
Oh, and to add insult to injury, the devs seemed to have abandoned this title completely. I've been waiting for years for some semblance of good news, some update to make the secret society game I've always wanted. Only to discover they've shifted their focus to another title without so much as a peep. GameTrek and Fulqrum Publishing...I am disappointed.
