This game is so cute!! I definitely Suggest it. I've played for a few hours and only encountered one bug that fixed itself the next in-game day, so no troubles there! If you like calming tycoon-like games, I would absolutely say to try this one.

A bit chunky for my 7 year-old's first management game, but the inclusion of the "include euthanasia?" option is a lifesaver for playing with young kids (and I enjoyed it for the handful of hours I was permitted to play :)

Overall, this is a very sweet and cute game and an enjoyable simulation. The artstyle is beautiful, and the animations are adorable! They did very well with this game so far. HOWEVER... It seems like the game is unfortunately abandoned and there's a few bugs that I think no one has any intention on fixing. I LOVE this game, and It's sad to see that there's possibly no progress going forth with it. Overall.. I preach you get this game under the awareness that there are bugs, and likely no further updates.

Rather mediocre.
After 14 ish hours I feel like I've already completed the game and then-some. Story mode ends rather abruptly and there's no end game incentive to keep playing the rather monotonous gameplay loop.
It is rather buggy, workers getting stuck in pens, adopters getting stuck in the shelter, dogs getting stuck outside of their designated kennels, dogs and workers getting frozen in the same place, events not happening after being scheduled, dogs not registering that they're in the play pen.
I particularly struggled in my story-mode shelter with running out of new dogs, of the 66 spaces I had open I'd rarely reach 25 dogs in my shelter so much of the space I had built felt useless. Or there would be days that barely anything would happen, no new dogs, no adopters, no sickness outbreaks etc etc.
Overall this game is probably a solid 5/10. It had the potential to be a pretty decent sim game with an OK game loop had the devs actually put effort into it, unfortunately it falls short and becomes boring and repetitive too quickly. It's only saving grace is the cute-sy aesthetic.
