The game was interesting as well as the story which connected nicely to the bonus game although the bonus game had the most abrupt ending ever made. The Interface was great and the artwork was very good. The voice acting was ok with the exception of Lillian the elf, who seems to be voiced by a satellite navigation unit. The game was short, so don't pick this up unless it's on sale.

You play as a princess (surprise!) who journeys to the neighboring Black Unicorn Kingdom to your best friend’s wedding… one she does not wish to happen! Seems that Isa character is still about… Also, your friend’s father made a promise with said Isa to heal his daughter… and the wedding is the repayment. You need to figure out the dark plots afoot and rescue your friend. Plot is fun, HO scenes intriguing, and the minigames challenging. Recommend purchase in the bundle.

The last of the games of this series available on Steam (as of 2020/11). Worth playing, but not as engaging as the first four. The art is still lovely, although the scenes are all night / underground to suit the setting. The game is uneven - some aspects are well done, while others fall short (see below). I feel as though there could have been more to the story, and I'm sorry to be done the series. Pros: - customizable difficulty settings - interactive map - variety of HO scenes - variety of puzzles - attractive artwork (though it does feel very dark compared to other entries in the series!) - bonus chapter Cons: - story is difficult to follow and doesn't feel connected to the other games in the series - story feels unfinished or rushed - the Elven princess has wooden, mechanical voice acting, and doesn't fully understand what she's reading - the puzzles/ games aren't as good as in previous entries; some allow a choice between hard/ casual, but others vary a great deal between too easy and frustrating - the in-game achievements are very basic (the prior games either didn't have them, or provided a special room) - the collectibles (stamps/ seals) aren't very interesting and most of them cannot be missed (maybe in hard mode?) Overall: This game doesn't live up to the entertainment and story value of the others. That said, it's still an okay game with nice art. Get it on sale and in the bundle. I still recommend the series as a whole.

Well, what a disappointment this game was after the really good Silver Arrow game. Extremely short at 4.5 hrs for both main story and bonus chapter and released in 2015! This game totally missed the charm and delight of the previous game. It was quite the opposite with very dark overtones and gargoyles littering the game. One HO had you clicking spiders and a mini game involved snakes...so not for the squeamish! It had a real occult feeling to it which I personally don't like. Once again you play the role of a princess, but who you are or what your kingdom is, was not mentioned. You are invited to a dear friend's wedding in another kingdom and she is being forced into the marriage. It appears your old foe, the sorcerer Isa, is back to his old tricks manipulating matters to his own advantage. The rest of the story is about the methods you try to use to extricate your friend from the marriage and the consequences of your actions. The story was very thin, and at time, very confusing. There weren't many characters and they were pretty bland and wooden. As another reviewer mentioned, the game felt very rushed and I saw a missed opportunity for a subplot to be played out. HO scenes were ridiculously easy and the mini games were slightly better. Graphics were mixed. Some scenes were beautiful, but others were very gloomy, depressing and pretty basic. Music had a familiar sound as there is a theme in all the games. This is not a terrible game, but just not inspiring with its dark overtones and lacked the imagination and flair of the previous game which should have launched this series onto another level. Instead, the devs played very safe and the game was flat and ran out of steam. There are 6 more games in this series but none are available on Steam. I was sorry that it ended on this note. 6.5/10 Definitely buy on sale.
