Very poor engine response to control input make this unplayable for me. One shouldn't have to compensate for the time one "hits the gas" and the interval before the engine responds...it was like the crank case on my bike had been filled with molasses instead oil/transmission fluid, or, put another way, similar to riding a bike where the front and back wheel bearings were siezed and, after gunning the engine for a second or two (that's not good in a race that is TIMED), my bike would sloooowly start to move forward. The enduro courses looked like they would have been fun, but the bikes power just fell flat...litterally. I've ridden (RL) street, dirt and motocross... the Enduro Rally bike's sluggish engine reminds me of my KTM 125 that had a 40mm carb on it... when I screwed up and let the RPM's drop below 12k, the engine lost power, became bogged down / flooded and the race was surely lost. Was expecting much more from World Enduro Rally. 3/10 Returned for refund.

First off, the "thumbs down" isn't really what I want to use (add some form of ambivalent reaction Valve, things aren't black or white...) on a scale of 0-10 I'd give it a 4. (this is an actual scale, not the idiocy that the gaming press uses that makes a 7 be something bad...) I don't see who this is for or why it was made into what it is... Looking at it you instantly see it's heavily inspired by RedLynx's Trials series - so inspired that you die at the end of the track, well, you always die the same way and only if you're going fast enough... It lacks the brilliant physics engine of Trials (you can't even bunny hop as far as I could tell) The tracks aren't apparent, you can't always tell what is the track or just scenery. There are obstacles you have to stop on but the brakes are horrible which means you'll overshoot them and have to restart from the previous checkpoint. It has no tracks central. So, what does it have that Trials doesn't: Faults, so you won't have to worry about crashing, it's all abot time. (you however don't set the time for one track but multiple in that location, three per location's what I've encountered) It has all bikes available from the start. It has a difficulty setting that changes how easy it is to crash by accident... It's in early access, so maybe it'll be made to stand out, copied, maybe they'll make sure the rider is always visible and can't go off screen, maybe they'll make it great down the line. (TBH it may work well on mobile phones, I don't play on trhat device so...)

Pretty fun enduro game. It's not easy to find games dedicated to enduro, so finding this is quite refreshing. I haven't played for too long yet, but the bikes are very realistic. They are real models (ktm , Husqvarna, Yamaha, Suzuki...) each one with their own characteristics. I find the weight, traction, engine, etc behavior quite realistic. The 2t/4t sound is very good (although it seems to be the same for several bikes). I kind of like that... With regards to controls, you can play with the keyboard or with a gamepad, but a gamepad is so much better (bike control is good with the analog triggers). The graphics are good, but the zoom is sometimes a bit too close. Once you get to it, it's fun though and you can see the details in the scenery, which are sometimes impressive. There are plenty of tracks (as far as I can tell, 8 locations with 3 different tracks per location), although some of them are a bit short. Hope they keep adding more tracks in the future. Definitely worth a try if you like MX or enduro racing.
