Fun and interesting mechanic. When you fall into a rhythm with the swinging it is very satisfying.
Great example of getting a lot of milage out of a mechanic.
Also, I'm a sucker for a fun dash mechanic in any game.

It's been a blast watching all of the improvements and new systems added to Skull's over the past year. The addition of free movement and branching skill trees have added real meat to the gameplay.
10/10 - would swing in circles again!

Game is pretty dang fun I love the art style and it has a plethora of fun the dialogue can be pretty entertaining as flawed as it is. The art style is pretty cool I definitely enjoyed killing waves of enemies I wish the xp did more than just give you a special attack mode which is hardly noticeable. There's a ton of spelling mistakes and there's a random voice that pops up the character portraits glitch as well. Game is beatable but there are glitches the second stage with the roots there's one room if you enter it from the wrong angle you can't see the torches to light them.. Each stage leading up to the boss has it's own mechanics and they're pretty dope. The game can be frustrating but it was fun for the price.
edit:The creator is constantly updating the game and taking community feedback as well as well definitely worth checking out I had to change the review he fixed a ton of the things I mentioned 7 might end up being an 8 out of 10 for the price.

Not all games need to be 20+ hour slog fests. Some games can be a fun 2-3 hour tight game. Skull's Impossible Quest has a fun tight game mechanic and it was a good few hours of fun.
Also it has puns. Lots of puns.

This is a spectacularly PUNNY game! It definitely elicits several chuckles and a lot of LOL moments. You can tell that the indie developer poor a lot of heart and soul into this game. The effort really shows with the wonderful graphics, the fun game play, the wonderful upgrading system. I can help but recommend this game for anyone who likes to swing pointy things furiously around your head. The puzzles are good but not overwhelming. You will get your money's worth of entertainment out of this game and help support a developer that cares about his craft. Keep it up, loved the game.
