i come for a plot

Hey, my friend wrote this! Based on my limited exposure to VNs as a medium, I still enjoyed MCS. It was rather silly and full of heart, though I find the overall narrative to be rather bare-bones. That isn't to say it's not worth your time, though. If you're a fan of the medium or just looking for a silly read, it's worth the price.

It was nice. could be cheaper but it was nice. Was a little [i]cringy[/i] at first, but the story was good and covered it up. [spoiler] "Well, that was fun" -Izumi [/spoiler] 8/10 would fap again

Sweet, but way too short (sorry, I like them long and thicc). There are not really much choices to make (also, not much action to take) and after 15 minutes, i finished. A bit disappointing, like having drunk shrek with your ex.

A fairly simple, but quite humorous vn, with attractive characters and witty dialogue. It was mostly a one-person effort and the author is to be congratulated. And the sex scenes weren't too bad, either.

A short comedy VN where group of students save the Earth from alien invasion(?). Also, some quick romance and h-scenes can be found as well. Worth saving the Earth this time? The male protagonist is a no face, no sprite kind of character. Can't name him so if you like to self-insert it sure ain't good start in terms of immersion. The simulator part was a lie after all. Ok, it is a comedy so can't take anything seriously. Also, I don't self-insert so I can easily forgive this blasphemy. Story quickly introduce you to your two female school friends/romance targets, one busty sports girl and one plump science nerd. Oh, you also meet some disguised characters who display interest in the rock your friend found. Eventually, a dispute about rock ownership leads to a clash of humans and aliens. Who will be victorious? It doesn't get much deeper than that, unfortunately. There are a few choices to make along the way that can lead you to one of the four endings. Very predictable endings. I guess it is mostly due to it being so short, but still, barely any character development is hard to excuse. I could not feel any emotional attachment to the characters. Also, the jokes and occasional fourth wall breaking was not funny to me. Maybe it is not my type of humour but I found serious lack of comedy in this title. Actually, I felt that the writing was pretty bland, disjointed, and rushed at times. Some of the older titles from this dev had better writing than this. A bit disappointing to be honest. I had higher expectations considering the number of titles from this dev. The anime art present here sure matches the budget of this product. The few character sprites present here lack details and feel very cartoonish. Not terrible but somewhat below average when compared to budget japanese VNs of similar budget. I'm not a fan of the faces and some proportions feel off. Backgrounds are perhaps the best visual feature of this game but most feel a bit too sterile. Still, at this price point I can excuse the art quality. Audio side is unremarkable. Tracks sound generic and forgettable but they were not annoying at least. What was unexpected to me was the partial voice acting. Majority of lines uttered by each character were voiced. Normally, I would call it remarkable considering the budget but I honestly can't. The delivery was bereft of emotions. No matter what was happening I could not hear any changes in tone or pacing. Instead of being an advantageous feature it became a detriment. Characters felt even less interesting due to that. In general, since good voice acting is expensive, low budget should avoid adding it. This is a good example why. I had some unexpected errors during the Erodani's route which triggered the standard error screen a few times. Fortunately, it was possible to resume the game so it is not a game breaking bug. Overall, this short comedy VN failed to deliver. Jokes were weak, characters bland, art and music at best average, and emotionless and monotone voice acting. Even at this low price I had higher expectations from this dev: 4.6/10
