It took a few minutes before I was on board. I almost gave up on it and then it became addictive. Love the strategy of all of it. Great Tycoon Game.

Kewl. Bit hard to figure out at first. Saves at each day, so not an ideal thing to play in like 15 minutes.

Great little tycoon game with the added bonus of the little side quests. Not only are you managing your uncle's shop but you have to take care of your family's needs PLUS the developing and staff management of your own video games! Played a number of hours on this and love it so far!

saw the game under recommended and thought to give it a shot. now being i paid 1$ or so for it ill be nice but there is little this game has. in the short time i played the tutorial is half assed and you need to read through pages and then it still isnt much help. the art style is reminding me of old internet games we played instead of doing school work (dont lie that was you too) the game feels under devaloped and wanting to be a trcoon and point and click. it just is a no for me as the game needs improvments in michanics excuse any spelling errors im dyslexic

Finally, a good shop management game. You manage a video game store. The game is easy to learn and the difficulty is good. It's a pleasure to manage your own shop. You can also develop your own video game company, recuit staff and firing job. It's addictive, funny, you get quickly used to it , you don't actually see how much time you have spent on it. I find that the programmer suceed his challenge. You have to manage well not to go bankrupt. It's seldom to find a game who deal with shop management. I recommeng it to people who are keen on this kind of game. We need to support these independents who provide a lot of energy, time and resources to make innovaties games, not always perfect but quite interesting.

Very potential game, personaly i love managing games as i'm accountant. This game could use some more features though, and changes. Family changes and features i would like to see: ° Family spending reduces to around 100 max 200 dollar a week, makes it more realistic. ° Buying from furniture keeps their meters filling over time to 100% ° Family members can be ordered to help in the shop with cleaning and keeping racks filled. Shop changes and features i would like to see: ° Buying and selling from used games and aditions on reduced prices ° More space in the racks to place more items ° Options to expansion the shop or buy bigger shops to sell more ° Bills reduced to once a month with more realistic amounts of money Game Development part changes and features: ° Option to choose or write title, box pictures and console type ° Sliders for different genres, settings ° Option to sell the game to larger companies or produce yourself and sell to shops Keep up the good work, love the game.

Well, I'd have to say after having played it for awhile now, I think this game is deserving of praise. It's relatively straightforward and I like the fact that you can choose to have various parts to manage instead of all of it at once (even though I did end up doing a full playthrough with both the character's family and the game development section...with the lowest starting money no less ._.). But I guess I wanted to see how it would handle if I tried to manage it in a certain way. And, it worked! It turns out that mostly you just have to make sure that everyone's happy, more or less. Setting the prices of your merchandise too high causes people to refuse to buy them, so that can keep you from making as much money, just as much as giving your employees for the game development section bad benefits or even halting their ability to take vacations...Thankfully, that isn't necessary, because if you balance everything out, you won't make a ton of money, but you will end up being able to do everything all at once. I really like what the game does, it's a fun business sim and I actually really enjoy the feeling I get from it, since there's a lot to do to make sure your character's family is happy (mostly from furnishing the house), the customers are happy (from making sure the store is run well and you treat them right, especially when they ask questions about products) and the development team is happy (by hiring them with permanent contracts and giving them good benefits). This is a nice break from a lot of tycoons where it's just...make money. In this, I really feel like I'm a small business owner.

This game is just all over the place. It doesn't know what it wants to be or what it is about - half of the mechanics don't make any sense at all. So... you start out and pick the tutorial, where it throws 15 screens of text at you explaining the buttons instead of walking you through gameplay like most titles. No biggie though, the game mechanics aren't too hard. There's an intro. A guy is leaving you in charge of his video game store for a month. If it earns enough money, he'll give you the store after that. Then the game starts out and you pick the merchandise you want to sell. It's a resource management type of thing. You have to physically put that stock on the shelves, too Next you open the store. It puts you behind the cash register and throws as many customers at you in one minute as you'd see in a real Gamestop in a day. You've got to scan stuff, answer customer questions from memory about the review scores on your games, and at the same time make sure no-one is stealing anything. This seems to be the primary focus of the game, such that it has one, and it was far too fast moving to be fun for me. I know I wasn't going to catch any thieves. All that might be personal taste though. You can hire employees. So if I don't like working the register, I can pay someone to do that, right? No. The employees are not for your shop. They're for a video game development studio which for some reason, you are running at the same time as you manage a brick and mortar gaming retail business. I don't know what the deal is with the video game development part. I know how to hire employees for it. I know how to assign them. What I don't know is why I'm performing tasks like that as a video game store manager, or what happens if I do well or poorly at them. You also have a family at home. Each of them have heart symbols representing their love for you. You need to continually pay them or their heart symbols drop and eventually they leave you. As someone who actually has their own family, I can assure you that it doesn't work like that IRL. But even if the family does leave, it doesn't matter as the game still goes on and those family members play no role in winning or losing. AFAIK it's all about impressing that one guy who talked to you at the beginning of the game. So I don't know what the whole point of the family is either. I'm assuming this went through some playtesting before release. Any tester worth his salt should have said, "Look. The family doesn't add anything. Get rid of that. The whole game development studio aspect doesn't make any sense and has nothing to do with managing a store. Get rid of that, too. Make the financial part deeper. Keep employee hiring a thing but make it so they can help you with the register and/or stocking if either of those things aren't fun for the player." If this game had actually kept to being a shop manager, it might have been OK. But it didn't. It tried to be more and became less.

This game very much makes you feel like your working in a store. You have to do it all. Keep the store clean, wait on customers, order inventory, bust thieves. At some point you can also develop games. If you wanna feel the struggle of what it is like to make money in a business this is a pretty interesting game. Really didn't run into any bugs but then again only played for 1.2 hours. For the current price I have to give it a thumbs up.
