The controls are unresponsive. Jumping in general is bad especially the double jump. Makes it very frustrating. The first boss is actually easy but you can't beat it because of bad controls . There is also forced vibration on the controller every time you shoot which is pretty useless and you shoot all the time so your controller is always vibrating. Very heavy on the wireless controller battery. You cannot turn off controller vibration in settings.

I didn't like this game at all.
I couldn't get off the vibration of my controller and it was really annoying.
Double jumps are LIMITED??? Seriously, like this game couldn't get any worse.
Don't buy this!

I like the game for what it is. A difficult $1.99 pixel graphic platformer. But I will say it feels like it could be a lot more than what it is. It could use tiny changes like having a reason to gather coins and maybe use them to upgrade to a variety of weapons or abilities like higher jumping or faster movement or able to take less damage or magnetize coins when close to them, stuff like that. Otherwise why grab coins in the fist place? I get that running out of the double jump is part of what makes the game difficult but at least grant the power to refill the double jump just a little more often. Secrets would also be a great addition to the game. Something has to give it a reason to replay it. I do recommend this game to true fans of pixel graphic platformers but others may not like it for what it is. The main reason I like it for what it is, is because they nailed the price. I also got it for $1.00(50% off), so I'm happy with it in it's current state.

The levels are well designed with exception of some strange choices here and there that looks like the developer had a few accidents copying / pasting the assets (although one falling brick I realized was put there to knock me down when I jumped for a moving platform and you had to jump up and make it fall then quickly jump for the moving platfrom before the falling brick appeared again ) and ulitmately I stopped looking for secrets whenever i saw something that seemed out of place.
I was wondering if it was actually possible to get past level 7 but Sergio (developer) shared this with me:
https://youtu.be/lD0kuFJe7Pc (actually defeating the bird boss at the end)
So no dollars on a string here; it's an honest construct even if the characters are a tad generic.
Feels very much like a SNES game I would've rented out for $5 dollars back in the 90's and and finished over a couple of nights rather than one I would've ran back to the video shop with immediately ( asking if I could swap it for something different) and considering that it's well worth the meager price asked.

I'm not recommended this game:
- You have 1mm to touch spikes = You get damage.
- You cross and not jumped to spikes = damage.
- Short loop for something like "music".
+ maybe story.
