i HAVE to recommend this even though this game is pretty substandard overall. and the reason is this game is the HARDEST i have laughed on stream in a WHILE. this definitely strikes me as being someone's first game, and it shows in the frequent typos, default models and assets, and overall basic game design. but it's just... guys, those "scares" and the poor writing is SO funny. if you're looking for a horror game to stream for a Bad Horror Compilation, this is your jam right here. also, there is love put into it! the actual environment itself is very nice to look at, and the puzzles themselves aren't terrible.

Overall, this isn't a bad game for the sales price of seventy five cents USD. It's certainly spooky enough, and once you get used to the controls and figure things out, it's a nice play. However, there seems to be an instadeath bug in the later part of the game. I would get hit and make a dying sound, then You Died came on the screen. No monster on the screen, nothing to give me a clue of how to stop it. It seems the dev changed the jump scares, so is this something new? I can't complete the game for that reason, but it was fun and solid what I did get to play. EDIT: Thanks to the dev's response I was able to complete the game. So thanks for the help!

Its kinda too dark. Couldn't find a brightness option in the game's menu so I tried using my monitor's brightness settings. But no luck, messing with my monitor settings makes the game look fuzzy. Maybe someone else would have better luck than me.

Game that acttualy suprised me, outlast type story telling (tons of notes) which worked for the game quite well and the atmosphere was solid through out the full game. But there are some issues, puzzles are just easy to the point where its just a joke and glitches, which can just ruin your immersion and leave u wondering around the house for a solid 10 minutes or in my case just force you to start all over again which doesnt help the immersion much either. Overall: One of the best at this price point, if u are on a tight budget but want to play some good enough cheap games try it out. 8/10 (Considering price point ofc)

Broken unfortunately. There's a game breaking bug where I cannot watch the video and therefore cannot progress. Refunding.

You need to understand something. There is in truth a second type of awful for measuring the awfulness of a Horror game. ("So bad it's good" aside.) Our understanding of it will differ based on our standards. Good: Enriching and stand-out experience worth experiencing. Bad: Throw away, bad, broken and simply a product of bad quality that fails at the above mentioned. Simplistic/Scare meal: It's designed to try and be just good enough to have working scare tricks up it's sleeve... for... scariness sake... And for these I feel there is a broad audience in-between experience and higher entertainment seekers. That is often dismissed when writing critical reviews. Unfortunately for this product in question, I fall into the latter and thus have to give it a thumbs down. But... I do hope the dev eventually learns to produce something that I'd find a worthwhile experience. Because scare meals will always exist and be made to always BE plentiful for people looking for a casual and quick thrill.

Played on Linux using Proton-GE, Needed Proton-GE for the Video Tape to work on the TV, Graphics are nice other the Rain Effects outside with the flash light on, Sound is pretty Good, Gameplay is good, And does have a few Jump Scares, I bought this on sale but still worth the money at the cheap full price, Took me just over an hour and did need to look at a guide twice, but the guide i looked at had different Gameplay, like having a gun to shoot a switch/lever, for me the door was open and i just need to pull the switch/lever, also has health pill's but no health pill's in my Gameplay?, But what i was stuck on was still the same (door codes). Over all i Recommend this game if you bored of running from monsters and just want an easy'ish paced Horror Story Game.

It is a decent game. Runs well, has nice graphics, played at ultra. The story is somewhat ok, nothing special, fun reading notes, finding keys etc.... Good puzzles and fun with the camera, typical staff, but also nothing new. But if you get the game on sale its worth, I think i paid like 0.30$

Ok, this took some doing, but I managed to complete the game. I'm glad I stuck with it, because I nearly gave up after only a few minutes of wandering in the dark. Incoming Evil is a game that relies heavily on triggered events to progress. Heck, most games are, but they manage to disguise it better than this one. :P There is a diary that guides you, but not very much. It doesn't always update when you complete the task. You may have to walk somewhere or see something for it to change. Running was sloooooow! When you have limited juice in your light sources, it makes the slowness of the running drag on and feel almost excruciating. Would love to see it increased by about 15-20%. Not a huge jump, just enough so that I feel like I'm actually running and not a constipated T-rex. <3 Other than that, I kinda liked the game. It was a nice shade of eerie with a side of potatoes. I can completely understand the frustration that other players have been having with this game so I was glad that I was able to brute force my way through and finish. Achievements are gameplay related so you can't miss em! I feel like the length of the game (45 minutes) and the sort of patchwork story aren't enough to pay the full $3.99. I recommend picking this up at 50% off.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this game. The story is almost nonexistent to the point that I had actually forgotten there was a point to the game. The game opens up with some dialogue text between a retired detective and an officer. After that, the story relies on notes, but the notes are very vague and don't really explain all that much; however, I still did get the gist of it. The goal may have been mysterious and intrigue, which can work, but it wasn't executed very well. The graphics were okay, but the rain effects were weird to look at. The sounds were okay, but a major plus was that there was no annoying or distracting music in the background. I only experienced one minor bug in the game with the journal not updating properly. Clicking on "begin new adventure" takes some time before the game loads, which is weird and confused me at first. Text on the notes is extremely small, making it hard to read with no option to make the text font bigger. Items can be hard to pick up and even crouching doesn't always work. There is no brightness control but it's bright enough to see (the dev had increased the brightness in the last update, I guess). There is no volume control, which thankfully, the game doesn't really require it (there are no loud annoying jump scare noises). There also isn't a window option, although alt+enter does work but not adjustable. The game has quite a few typos and grammar issues, and with a story told only by text, it is really important. Some of the typos threw me off completely (such as "deserme", which I guess they could have meant "deserve"?). I noticed one bit of dialogue that made no sense, unless the character knew more than the player (clicking on a shotgun has the character saying that someone must have killed themselves with it, but the note in the same room does not give the vibe of a suicide note). Overall, I do have a lot of things against the game (the typos/grammar errors being the biggest flaw along with a weak story) but I didn't hate the game. It is a short game with some light jumpscares. I would definitely get this game only when it's on sale. So, would I recommend this game? Sure, if you want a short, quick game or a lighter scary game. I just wouldn't expect much from the game.
