Good, solid game.
The reality levels compound, you can unlock more customisation via doing the world challenges, and each story feels unique.

Never have I wanted to get a refund for a game until now.
I thought the bank stealing your money was a glitch, but apparently that's part of the game design. Never open a bank account, you'll lose access to your money and die.
This game is total RNG, which is fine to prove a point about homelessness and poverty, but if you already grew up in poverty irl and just want to play a grindy game, this isn't it. Save your money.

after I got the final greatest achievement... what a game
CHANGE is a rogue-like survival game on the streets!
You get items that help you save up(cash)/survive. There are 3 ways to earn income: recycling, begging, and doing crime!
Then you go to libraries for studying, and focus on the process to get "paperwork".
then work a job to earn way more significantly... and a job increases paperwork significantly too
Until 150$ and 100 paperwork, go to a 'Real Estate' building and finish your run
(Each playthrough will take a few hours to win)
I mean I liked. I enjoyed the dynamic gameplay, to choose whatever playstyle. The 8bit artstyle, hustle/survival gameplay and the other micro/niche mechanics delivers an experience, a homeless experience!

Alright, let me share some insights on the game “Change.” Honestly, I haven’t experienced a game this raw and authentic in a long time. The way it immerses you in the struggles of trying to survive on the streets is truly profound. The decisions you have to make, the people you trust, and the places you find shelter—all of these factors matter.
The story is not a fairy tale either. It’s gritty and will linger in your mind. Moreover, the art style complements the overall mood perfectly. I was instantly hooked, trying to figure out how to make it through another day in the game.
In essence, if you seek something that will challenge your mind and provoke thought, “Change” is the key. It’s not merely a game; it’s an immersive experience. Trust.

Depressing but well done. It feels dull and monotonous in parts but...it would be, wouldn't it? The devs have clearly made this with love and continued updating it with love for years (and still!). Also helps a good cause!

The other reviews are right - the game looks and plays like a mobile game. Having said that, I think the systems are too shallow and the "experience" of being homeless seems a bit too gamified.
Having said that, I can't knock the game for the price - it's not trying to be something it's not. It's just a little mobile game with some unoriginal mechanics. I'd like to revisit this game at some point if it "opens up" but even at an hour of gameplay I felt like I'd seen most of what there was here. After watching some gameplay videos it seems like I'm not too far off.
Solid idea, poor execution.
