If you're into Grid and Dirt 2, definitely get this one. This game and a controller are a marriage made in heaven, as long as you use xinput plus (easy to use utility that emulates directinput and allows fine-tuning of sensitivity curves and remapping, most importantly - force feedback emulation on new gamepads), very satisfying driving. No licensed cars or stages, but that just doesn't matter at all.
A long-forgotten art of implementing the sense of progression in racing games awaits you. You'll find that some "upgrades" like body, engine etc are rather OPTIONS you can use tactically for specific races, no universal solutions.
Most importantly, driving MAKES SENSE and is enjoyable.
P.S. Now I should mention this game is supported by modders. You race the Nordschleife in an Evo, if you want.
