Played demo and it was very exciting action game BEFORE I bought full version. Game concept is so unique and fun, I did't feel bored. One of the coolest action game, satisfied with full version.

After racking up 30 hours of gameplay, I decided it was time to leave a review for this game. When it comes to reviews, I do not do many, but when it is really justified, then I will, be they good, or bad. Emitters is a great concept with a great backstory. Skynet part 2, Blade Runner style (the gameplay mechanic is not exactly blade runner, but the soundtrack itself is heavily inspired by Vangelis, and the intro is spookily similar. Yes, it is true, Hytek94 is a big Bladerunner fan) Gameplay itself is a very faithful fps experience, a return to a genre much forgotten in my honest opinion. The arena shooter concept. Each map is one big, big arena, filled with tons of aggravated drones and androids. It is your mission to put a stop to the virus that has made these drones turn against the people they are supposed to be protecting. Emitters is the corporation you must save, and save it, you shall. It will not be easy on the first run though, as each level will become more harder, enemies develop smarter AI, etc. The FPS sections have a great learning curve. Targeting is extremely rewarding, with nice satisfy explosions when you have slain your enemy. Level design is good too, to the point that you will get used to your surrounds and use those elements to better your combat skills. There is also a turret system at your disposal too, you will need to use EP (emitters points) to make use of them, and they can be earned. On the first playthrough, you must earn enough salvage, to make better weapons, and upgrade your abilities. Starting off without these, means you need to adapt, and that is where the turrets come in handy. The golden rule here is, use your surroundings to your advantage, quickly glance at your EP reserve, and when you need it the most, activate the turrets, they will save you from destruction. Yep, Emitters is a great game, and from a game developer with a great dream, which is becoming reality. Hytek94 is a nice guy, to be part of this game in some way is an honour. Just a word of warning though, the escape level is hard, it was hard for me, but if you have cat like reflexes then you should have no trouble doing it. I love the escape level because it goes against the grain of the gameplay, and I personally think, it was a good move, to challenge the player till the very end. Protect humankind, stop the Drones, Save your company.
