Would I play this game again? Probably not. Is this game worth giving a chance and might actually be more fun if you play longer than I did? yes. Would a multiplayer be even better? HELL YEAH. Am I patiently waiting for a multiplayer. Yep.

I hate to say it but but someone got inspired by sword with sauce and fell flat the arena were to big and though accuracy was good you can be standing on build firing down the enemy didn't fall. it was a good try but didn't make it my standards

Fighting npcs with shitty ai in a glitchy game, that's literally it. Seems like it -may- have had potential if it had some sort of objective, but nah.
Runs like shit too.
Complete garbage, refunding.

This game is... UNBELIEVABLE! I went into this game with decent expectations after i saw a few videos, and i have to say it meant the expectations easily. I think this game is out-of-this-world for the price that i got it for, 59 cents. Thats incredible. If you can get it for under a dollar, then do so. Its amazing. Heres a small list of pros and cons:
+You get a all of the weapons at the start
+the weapons are unique and fun to mess around with
+the plain white art design is really cool to me, i personally love white
+The color detection of the enemies is a really nice idea
+i played this game for over an hour, i think that justifies 59 cents
+IT HAS EXPLODING RABBITS
-it has a wierd grainy texture/filter applied on it
-It has a wierd blur effect
-the AI dosnt seem to change according to level
- the detection of the AI seems inconsistent
-theres no multiplayer
Overall I rate this a 9/10, solid. Make sure to pick this up if u can!

Swords With Spice is not a polished game, but it turns a pile of purchased assets into something that transcends its tiny scope. The weapons range from standard guns to Saints Row style nonsense - everything from a disco ball to a fish. My favorite is the crowbar, I was expecting a melee weapon but instead your character just yeets it. The projectile range is seemingly infinite, and it has great accuracy, so picking off enemies from a distance works well. Using the light cast by enemies to track them is a neat gimmick, they're basically canon fodder but in a good way. I'm left wanting leaderboards, it would greatly improve replayability.
I wish there was more here. The lack of modes is a shame considering the core gameplay loop is pretty fun, although I appreciate the inclusion of multiple difficulty options. There's an unfortunate dearth of settings. Resolution doesn't go above 1080p and keys can't be rebound. I also feel like this would benefit greatly from an 'always run' setting, your walk speed is interminable and too much of the round is spent holding down shift.
At the end of the day, I got my money's worth. If you're expecting something with depth you can sink your teeth into look elsewhere, but goofing around with the silly weapons is certainly entertaining for 20 minutes.
