No no no. this should be free. it's a mess. playable and even a kinda fun. but it should be free. it's asking price of $10 is grosssssssssssss

It tooked me couple of minutes to figure it out how to play this game. After learning what i need to do and how i was able to play the story quite fast (It's a small game). Definitely a game for cat people haha.

It's a short, basic, fun game, but if you can get it cheap like i did, hey, why not try it? :)

It's a fun little game. The only big draw back is the screenshot key won't work during it.

Remember [b]Neighbors from Hell[/b]? In this game you play as a Cat try to put some pranks on Dogs. Pros: - Funny setting - Easy to learn - Cheap - Cat ^._.^ Cons: - Short - Some weird animations Neutral: - No save option & level selection. But the game itself is short, so it's okay. [b]Score: 6/10[/b] [h1]My thoughts:[/h1] The game contain 2 different kind of gameplay from 5 levels, 3 of them are point & click puzzle strategy similar to NFH, and 2 of them are side-scrolling runner. The point & click are simple enough, the objective are highlighted when you hover the mouse above them and you just need to figure out which item you can use to put a prank on it. And each level only contain 3-4 pranks, so it's quite short. I hope there will be another level in future. The stealth mechanic is too simplistic, the detection is not based on NPC's pov, but it's based on whether you are in same room and you are not behind cover (the hiding spots in this game are indoor plants), so if you are entering the room or getting out of cover even the NPC is facing to the other side of the room, if you are in the same room with them you will get detected. The runner, well, after you've done pranks the story follow the cat is being chased by the dogs, you move by using arrow keys on keyboard and spacebar to jump, you just need to run from the dogs and dodge the obstacles until you safe. Oh, one more thing, all the dog have one same angry voice, even they are different breed and different gender, I think it would be nice if the female dog have different voice. So, this one is kind of a mixed feeling review, but it's more to positive side. But if you don't like a really short game, you might want to skip this. Bad animations, no level select screen, you aren't told the controls, and there's only five levels. Maybe for 2-3$ it's worth it, but not 11$. It's a mediocre puzzle game with a cute art style, but the price drops my rating from 5/10 to 4/10

I bought this game as part of a bundle that was on sale. It cost 1.64 euro and it came with all the games released by Victoria Games, with Pranky Cat being one of them. But really, do not let the positive user reviews fool you: this is a really bad game and not worth getting it on a sale, let alone its full price of 9 euro. Basically, think of it as Neighbours from Hell, but with cats and dogs. And not a good one at that. The animations are stiff, the "pranks" aren't all that funny and overall, it feels cheaply made, even for a game made using Construct 2. It's almost like one of those scam ad mobile games you see on your phone. And then there's the fact that it's really short. Seriously, I actually finished the game in under 10 minutes, as the only levels you get are the police station, the laboratory, a skating segment, a fire station and a second skateboard segment. And that's it. Its short length really makes it a scam at 9 euro, and even then it's still not worth 2 euro or less. Speaking of the fire station, when a fireman turns on the TV, it shows the screenshots from the Illumination movie, "The Secret Life of Pets". And without permission from neither Universal nor Illumination. How did Victoria Games manage to get away with this act of copyright infringement? And the skating segments have a severe problem with the collision detection for the barrels. I implore you to just avoid this game altogether. Do yourself a favor and just play Neighbours from Hell, be it the original versions of the two games or the Neighbours back from Hell remaster. Do not spend your spare Steam Wallet cash on this.

Once you know the solutions you can plow through the whole game in a matter of minutes. Ultimately, Pranky Cat is a simple point and click game where each level you set up some "harmless" pranks and then, once you've done them all, vacate the premises and run for your life. As in, you get on your skateboard and flee the police after you pranked their police station. They will chase you like they're the Terminator while you dodge constant construction obstacles. Again, the game is very short. Would love if it had more levels.

Quite good funny indie game. The pranks are funny for the first time. The game is good only for short time. It is repetitive to play it again. But I like the indie aspect. The control system is not good but easy to get used to. Camera system is sometimes quite unpleasant. The prank levels and the skateboard levels are not balanced, they are just quite different. I recommend the game but only in sale. It is just original indie game.

I know i shouldn't expect much from a ~$2 game (that i got on -75% sale), but still... The artwork for the main menu background and success/failure screens is really cute and pretty well done, but everything else: the in-game world and characters, the movement/being caught/hiding animations, the twitching of at least some interactive objects, the fact that sometimes the game just won't register your clicks is just awful. In the skateboarding levels the game claims your path is like 19 kilometers, that you're doing in a minute or 2, while outrunning a car on a flat road... ok? In the very first level you have no problems drawing a black mustache and glasses over your "wanted" poster, but then you need to find a BLACK marker to cross out "DOG" in "DOG POLICE DEPARTAMENT" (sic) and write "CAT" instead using RED lines/letters. Who came up with that? like for real And as a last point, this is not even a desktop game. When you press F12 to make a screenshot, Chrome Developer Tools appear :| I suppose it's a nice game idea, akin to the Untitled Goose Game, but with anthro animal characters, just executed very, very poorly. If in the future there was a part 2 done decently and in 3D it could be fun.
