The answer is YES! The question is "Should you get this game?".

This game seems like a low effort student project. No sprite animations, text-to-voice narration, and simplistic & repetitive gameplay make this a very unpleasant experience. You will spend the entire game digging a path down, while continuously bringing the dirt back to the surface to build a path into the sky to get the necessary power-ups. Doggo Dig Down is boring, and not worth $4.

Although I haven't played into it too far it's a very fun game. I really liked the concept of it of a cute little dog (you can choose from 4 dogs I think?..) on the quest to bury a bone deep underground building into the sky and stuff for power-ups/upgrades. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was the speed of how you walked because it was kinda too fast for my pace in a way making me rage lol. Idk if you can change that or not so I can't really say much. But overall it's a cute little game to play, and it's even better if you are a doggo (dog) lover and enjoy little games like this. (Sorry for if I spelled something incorrect and horrible grammar xd)

This game honestly feels like a fever dream. Or a 2000s flash game. You're a dog digging deep into the earth to bury your bone, but then the dirt has to go somewhere, so you build your way up to find presents in the sky so you can carry more dirt to build more platforms to get high enough to jump into the sun and die (it's okay though, you come back). But also you can find a grappling hook and a jetpack. And there's chill lounge music playing the whole time. And also hats. Honestly though, I enjoyed it. It's short, and the tags seem like a misrepresentation of what the game actually is. It's only a precison platformer if you make it one, I wouldn't classify it as a side scroller game, and you're "exploring" only in the loosest sense of the word. You are moving dirt from one spot to another. That's it. I found it to be a pretty meditative 3 hours, but it's definitely not for everyone. I got it on sale for $1, and that's about what I'd pay for it.
