This game has too many glitches. I don't recommend anyone

Backgammon is fun. Dominos is fun but keeps erroring to the main screen

checkers keeps crashing. Just shuts down half way through the game

[i]those of us old timers will find this much like the days when all one had on ye olden giant pc was the bundle of games... yer mine sweeper, yer checkers, chess and so forth. a few of differences though... these are 3D, one can fiddle with the sets, the backgrounds and some of the rules in each game. it's not a huge world changer. but hey, it's something for those of us too old to Want something with a lot of bells n whistles. some things are just good As Is.[/i] [hr][/hr] Update: it would appear that i spoke too soon. while Some of the game is still functional, the Majority of it is Not. and that is Only if you can get it to launch to begin with. what i said above would have been true had the game continued to work on my pc. but as of this writing, sadly that is not the case. so while i still wish it worked, i have to warn those with newer versions of their OS, that the newer the version, the worse the game's ability to function. in fact, it's easier to say which games Work than to list the ones that don't. basically, i can play chess, mine sweeper, hearts (which Technically isn't part of the main thing, it's a "bonus" game.) backgammon and cribbage. the rest are hit-or-miss as to whether they'll work from the offset, freeze midway through and/or straight up crash the whole game.

I lost my money paid for a product that I was not able to open , was not able to get any help and i"m up set to has lost $ 20.00 Thank you

Lacking basic games options for very common games. Hearts no shoot the moon, no domino variation, poor instructions for most. Non of the card games I bought this for match the card game out of typical card rule books. Lots of variations of games just not the common ones. Only 12 or so bucks but not worth it as It doesnt have my spades hearts or cribbage or euchre. Not sure what their version of board games is but there are none included.

Pretty relaxing. I installed steam and a number of programs for other seniors who request it. Good introduction to streamed gaming which opens doors to even more fun.

Game randomly crashes, or doesn't start at all. Dominoes game is flaky. Mahjong has tiles that should be accessible, but aren't. Basically this is about what you would expect for freeware, not a paid game.

This game is missing features, some are game breaking. 1. Hearts has many variations that are commonly played. Examples include shooting the moon, passing cards, Omninus Hearts where the jack of diamonds takes ten points off of a player's score, using a kitty of three cards that is taken by the first player, or in some variants the last player, to take a trick in a three player game. In some variants Hearts can be broken at any time; in some the queen of spades does not break hearts. Also note that these rules are not all mutually exclusive of each other. The first trick does not start with the two of clubs. 2. Mancala can start with different numbers of stones in each starting pit, not only four. Mancala also has many variants. Winning conditions also vary. 3. Checkers - Three move repetition is a draw in Checkers and the program does not recognize this rule. This is a game breaker. Checkers also has several commonly played variants. 4. Chess has a huge number of variants and several of them are played online at various sites. Common ones include Anti-Chess, Fischer Random Chess and Knight Relay Chess. The Chess game needs more levels. Experienced players will defeat this program but people that only play Chess very casually are going to be frustrated. This program does not provide complete features for the games above. Other games in this program also have commonly played variants, like Dominos. This product really needs more features for the included games to be fully competitive with products already on the market.

Simplistic game...which is what I was looking for. Just looking for basic board, casino, & card games. Bought the combo Mega Pack for about $20, which included the Casino 'Mega' pack, the Card games 'Mega' Pack, the Puzzles & Board Games pack and an additional Mahjong Ultimate. Many titles are repetitive. The Mahjong is included in the Puzzles combo. Several card games are duplicated across the Casino and the Card Games Pack. Overall, I'm unimpressed and frustrated with it. I've logged 15 hrs on it, and will still probably play it more. I've tried about 50% of the titles included. It's a functional time-waster/procrastination tool. Visually, it looks good enough, and is not overly animated which would only slow down game play. It does allow you to save a few profiles which hold your visual settings per profile, and your winnings/losses in the Casino games. However, my gripes however, are as follows: 1. No Game Play options in any titles, beyond very basic visual background options and sound volumes. There are 0 rule options, and therefore no variation available in game play. Ie. Solitaire is only the 1 variation. Dominoes is not a version which allows scoring points. etc. 2. Game difficulty logic is very simple, not adjustable, and for the most part not challenging at all. I've never lost at Backgammon once, can't lose at Mancala now that I've figured out the pattern of opponent moves, etc...yet, get crushed in Chess continually because I'm terrible. Honestly, I'm no good at any of them and I shouldn't be able to go undefeated against the computer. 3. Mancala has bug that freezes it. There is literally no support anywhere to be found. 4. No statistics of any sort, even just win/loss %s are not kept. That's exclusive of Casino which of course is based on a starting wage. I've haven't lost all my money yet, but it sounds like from the forums that there is no way to go completely broke and lose. So, dissatisfied. I dropped a few dollars thinking it would be better and more versatile than just Standard Microsoft titles of the same. But it did not include even as many options as those OS embedded games. There were surprisingly few Steam choices in this genre. I suppose I'm the only one that wants to play such mindless games. If I had it to do over, I'd have just bought the Casino Package for $5 or so and looked elsewhere for cards and board game titles. The Casino games I've played have been satisfactory, including Craps and Roulette. Hope this helps someone. Btw, I'm running W10
