Nice little game and definitely has potetial. I am exicted about the upcoming project from Phodex Games.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the levels, however the AI wasn't very smart :D .

The only way to avoid getting hit is blocking I've run from the skeletons been out of range and still been hit and fighting is horrid when it's more than one skeleton

It's fun and the graphics are very unique: simple low-poly yet very high detail.

Good concept; like the developer said it was short. Hope to see more in the future. I enjoyed the gameplay.

The First Chapter is more an Aplha. there are good ideas and freshness in it.
The dev (understood there is only one) has been reactive and I shall wait for further developments.
Please understand that the game (The First Chapter) is not worth your 5€ but it's a way to support the guy (Markus).
You will finish the "quest" in 20/30 min without difficulty but at least there is no bug.
Another point is that the FPS are no that good yet, with a medium PC I got 50 fps in game (usually 100 fps on CSGO on low).
Let's buy the game to suppor the dev and wait for a new kind of game.
This situation remind me the old time of the Witcher, Mount and Blade, small studios with fresh ideas.

This game is literally impossible. If you survive one enemy you won't survive the next as there's no hp regen and you have to somehow survive a bunch of over powered enemies before you find an hp pot, one of which you are supposed to bring back to your friend.

Just finished played thru, twice. (First time it crashed just after I read the book to find a secret passage.) As advertized, it is a really short play-thru. I didn't try the visual filters, yet, but I am curious to do so.
Pros: I really enjoy the look of the game. It feels unique.
Things I'd like to see:
- More interactable items. I was really sad when I couldn't smash a crate, break a jar, or loot a chest.
- Some kind of inventory, so I can choose between Shield/Sword or 2-hander without running back to last loot spot.
- Fighting was sluggish. Seemed like stamina drain was not in sync with attacks. So, I actually had less stamina than indicated. I noticed this when sprinting, also.
- Fighting: blocking seemed to be in a complete 360 degrees. This reduced the effectiveness of my companion who always potitioned behind my target. I was tank, but she couldn't spank.
I am very happy to support the Indie developers on Steam. This game, however, didn't deliver much for the price. It was about a 10 min play. I am hopeful more content will be released and my choice to support this title will be vindicated.
