I have two complaints: the User Interface and the monkey system. The User Interface feels like an afterthought, especially when it comes to moving items around. There’s no "sort" button, which makes inventory management frustrating. However, keep in mind that I was using a controller, so the experience might differ on keyboard and mouse. The monkey system has a few bugs. Sometimes, they can’t find rocks to mine even when they’re standing right next to one. Other times, they stop working altogether and start wandering to the edge of the island or worse, into the sea. Another issue is that monkeys don’t remember where items belong in chests. If they have an item in hand and are near a chest, they’ll just dump it in there unless there’s another chest with the same item nearby. This lack of organization can be frustrating. One more annoyance is when you teleport or enter a cave, there’s a chance they won’t follow you. While this can be fixed by simply going back and forth, I won’t lie my blood pressure has probably popped a few arteries when they’ve failed to teleport and instead started wandering towards the beach... and before you know it, I have to drag them back from bikini bottom. For only €2.49, I’d say I got my money’s worth. I also am partially admiting to using ChatGPT for this review.

[h1]My Review After Completing the Game with All Achievements:[/h1] The Survivalist is survival and multiplayer game. It can be played alone (but better with friends), serving a fun experience. For me, the game have a good quantity of content: tasks, enemies, different islands, a lot of weapons, bosses, pets and a good quantity of hours of gameplay, even with friends! There's a automatization system with the monkeys, but I think it has a couple of problems but nothing so big. If you liked The Escapists, and you like survival games, you'll like this game. FINAL SCORE: 3.5/5 ★★★✰✰

Pls fix your multiplayr its so bad.its full of bugs.Monkeys cant do thinks when they told what to do and only the host of the game can see the monkeys.Cant see the crafting in craft bench when my bro have the blueprint

The most glitchy, unintuitive UI and controls ive ever seen. Genuinely unplayable.

Truthfully I was going to enjoy a new save file with a brand new character but you know there seems to be no button so oh well uninstalled.

To be honest, I don't really know what to think of this game. The pixel art is great The idea of ​​the game is great too. But What a terrible and unfunctional UI. Craftables are in a tree that looks like a skill tree. You can't make masses, everything has to be done individually. The boat controls are similar to the feel of a PS1 game. Combat: Terrible! You can only attack left, right, up and down. The enemies, however, can attack diagonally. That's incredibly annoying. As I said, I don't really know whether I like it or hate it

Fun monkey business. This is pretty much a far more upbeat Don't Starve, with a much gentler difficulty curve. The game is genuinely fun to play, with many great recipes to unlock, and automation with trained monkeys is an interesting and entertaining mechanic. However, I must also caveat that the game gets repetitive and same-y very fast. Even though each of the five island has a distinct biome and 2 new creature types, there's not much more to see by the time you get to the third island. There are collection quests that become grindy for little satisfaction. Finally, the game isn't very challenging. Once you get the hang of the mechanics, you'll never be in any real danger. You can sicc your monkeys on most monsters, even bosses, and they can take him down without your help. All of this is somewhat offset by the fact the game is relatively short. You can beat it in a day or two. It's definitely worth a look, especially at the current deep discount. Don't Starve fans who do not like that game's steep difficulty but love the gameplay will find much to love here.
