Fun, relaxing game that continues the story of Princess Sophia. Features lovely artwork, soft music, and light puzzles.
I did run into crash-to-desktop issues when starting the game on my install, but was able to bypass them via tweaking compatibility settings and repeatedly opening the game after it crashed. Mostly the latter.
Recommended. Just be aware that there's a possibility of a CTD issue.

Significantly longer and with more varied puzzles than the first chapter, Awakening: Moonfell Wood is a pleasant and relaxing experience. As with the previous chapter all puzzles can be skipped which prevents the game from becoming frustrating even if you get stuck.

This is Awakening #2. The story continues, and continues to be charming. The gameplay is much improved. Lots of puzzles, some easy and some that will require you to think about patterns and visual connections.
All in all, it's a very polished hidden-object adventure with a positive vibe and a casual feel. Strongly recommended.

Though a little nonsensical at first, all the games in this series are absolutely enjoyable and full of story. I definitively recommend.

Very enjoyable! The puzzles are different than other games which keeps it interesting. I found the storyline fairly easy to follow, with pretty visuals and not too much backtracking! The goblin card game was fun too.

The second installment of Awakening is much longer and features much more complex puzzles. Even though the Dreamless Castle also has beautiful art style, Moonfell Wood is nothing short of breathtakingly beautiful. That being said, some of the puzzles are redundant and it gets a bit annoying after you've played through it a couple of times. But at least there's no more "Simon says" type of puzzles. It's still a great hidden object & puzzle game I love to play every once in a while :-)

Much more content than the first game in the series. Puzzles are sometimes easy, sometimes take a while to solve. Gives a relaxing experience. I like the storyline as well.

Much better than the first one. I actually enjoyed this one.
Pros:
Beautiful art
Decent story
HO scenes are really nice, I especially like the variety added with the cards
Cons:
No map or fast travel, and a decent amount of backtracking so you have to load through multiple maps and that gets annoying
Some repetition of puzzles, but not nearly as bad as with the first one.
Hints are better than the first, but still sometimes completely useless.

I really, really did not want to give this game a negative review, but I had no choice. This game has tons of puzzles, but all of them are repetitive and the same thing over, and over, and over, and over again. The puzzles ranged from either far too easy to the instructions being far too vague to understand. By the end I was skipping every puzzle because I was sick of doing the same thing over and over again.
It was a case of quantity over quality. I much rather the developers did fewer puzzles of more variety and quality than just a repeat of the same over and over.
I really didn't want to give it a bad rating, but I had no choice. I have heard the next game "Goblin Kingdom" is the best. I pray it's an improvement.

I absolutely love this series! The graphics and scenery are so beautiful! I love the fairy tale style of the series! Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy some spooky, mystery stories but it's just nice to be able to lose yourself in a gorgeous fairy tale now and then. The story follow Sophia as she continues her journey through the Goblin Kingdom to find the rest of her kind...humans! The mini-games you come across are for the most part pretty easy to do, some much easier than others. Often the goblins who help you along, will want you to play a game of Tri-Peaks with them....it's a version of Solitaire, which is actually really fun to play. This game is not a CE but you definitely get your money's worth with it...I played for just over 7 hours before finishing it! I loved every minute of it too!! This is the 2nd game in the series and I believe the next one is a CE version, Yay!! I highly recommend this game to all who enjoy IHOG's, especially if you enjoy the Fairy Tale/ Fantasy type ones.
