Have you played *The Grandstream Saga* and liked it? If so, this game *might* remind you of that old gem from the PS1 era, but only in a way, as Eternal Edge is not as good. The lack of polish made me drop it after just a short while, it felt like I was playing a failed attempt at creating an adventure in RPG Maker.
