Extremely mid plane not even worth when its 3 dollars, everything about it so mid, performs alr with planes from its time, its damage is so bad it might aswell have no guns, its maneuverability is again mid its alr, not fast not slow it just just feels like flying a Soviet plane 5 or 6 out of 10

Very good in terms of speed, maneuverability, and it's guns, but it has low ammo (only 340), poor armour (1-2 bullets can kill you immediately through the cockpit), and engine isn't that good in sustaining hits. but, it's definetly still good as intercept, and dogfighting. EDIT: Forgot to add this in, but it's fine as a ground to attack aircraft.

The LA-5 series to me at least have always been the more powerful, "elite" version of a Yak if that makes sense and thats mainly because of the guns. It still doesn't have a lot of ammo but it definitely makes a bigger dent when you hit something. +Great looking plane, fun to fly. Fast and manueverable. +I always considered it as a more "elite" version of the Yak series. Faster with more punch behind it. Love the LA series. Good plane.

Great plane Can be a bit unstable in tight turns, but the overall handling is good. The gun can only hold 300 rounds or so but if you know how to spare ammo thats no problem.

Probably my most flown fighter plane. I like how the engine has a large nominal temperature range and the cooling is powerful when you need it.

Great plane, fast and tons of fun. Feels like a huge improvement over the La-5 with that new fuel system. However, it sucks through that fuel in no time. I normally take 200 liters with me on small scramble missions to intercept nearby targets etc, and most of the time in anything pre-Bodenplatte, 200 liters will be enough and then some. This one? I've drained through 60 liters before I even find the baddies. It isn't a big deal, more of a warning. Always take 50-100 liters more than you would normally bring.
