Love's Sweet Garnish is a short, simple, and cute moege about running gram grams old cafe because there needs to be some sacrifice for the MC's rise to glory. The premise and characters can be summarized as simplistic, but I think that is perfectly fine as I read this for some warm, happy, and positive vibes. I think the story did a good job making the antagonists annoying lil lemon suckers that add to the stories plot to bring the player closer to the girls. The art direction, sound track, and voice acting are all great and have an overall bright and cheery aesthetic.
For how short this novel felt I think it is well worth the price even if you plan to get the second in the series. It was a nice, simple, and fun read for me so I can totes recommend it. Id recommend it higher if there was more Chisato screen time, but thats why side characters are the best, because the sweetest fruits are the ones you dont get.
