Fun space station management game. Great graphics, voice acting, humor. UI is really polished.
It's a good way to pass some time on Zoom meetings while under lockdown :P
Zen mode is pretty chilled out, great if you want to skip the destruction part of the mechanics and just want to muck around and build a cool station.
Also, it has well-executed (HDR-based) bloom. Love me some bloom.

I’m a sucker for games from the Sims franchise and Starport Delta does a great job at giving me my fix of world building, IN SPACE! The tutorial was easy to play through and learn the ropes, while the campaign turns it up a little and goes more into depth with what can be done with buildings, resource management and environment mishaps. Besides the campaign there is a way to just run wild in a sandbox, try your hand at some challenges, or play custom games and play at your pace. Each one was fun, but I preferred the sandbox mode. It was nice to see how large I could get my base, and also helped me figure out placements for upgrading buildings.
The characters, buildings, and environment designs are really vibrant. The voice acting sounds good and the dialog is entertaining. Also, let’s talk about the soundtrack, it is EPIC! Made playing the game for hours pleasurable.
I also love when a development team utilizes discord to reach out with their audience and work together to create a really great game.
Overall, if you enjoy resource management genre games, anything space and want to rock out to an amazing soundtrack, then this game is for you.

Starport Delta is a platform puzzle space station builder. You must gather and manage resources and build your empire while space and horrifying invaders try to kick it down.
The base rules are simple. Plant your resources to support life and then build living quarters and try to find harmony between the populace who bring income and the equipment that keeps them alive. Its a simple concept and seems easy to do but space, pirates and general maintenance have different ideas. Get ready, about the time you have things in order meteor showers or Pirates have different ideas and Pirates don't care if you Just survived a meteor storm. Maintenance costs may overwhelm you, but you really do need that extra laser and shield generator.
All of this is incased in beautiful backdrops, fantastic voice acting and an easy to understand UI. An absolutely beautiful brain teaser of a game with ambient music and several different ways to challenge yourself from the Campaign to the Sand box.
See how you stand up to your peers by checking your place on the leaderboards!

If you enjoy a heavily strategic game, Starport Delta is the game for you! It will take many attempts to complete the more difficult levels, and learning new strategies is key. The campaign serves as a great tutorial, and the challenges are very, very challenging. It may look like like a "place and wait" game, but it's actually very hands on, with many events happening to try hinder your progress. You may encounter the odd bug, but they are ones you can play around, and the developers are very open to communication to try and improve their game.

Please watch You Tube or Twitch to see if you like what you see before you buy, I think people are buying the game and jumping into sandbox, getting hammered then leaving a negative review. I played most of the campaign which makes for a pretty good tutorial, and it still took a while to get the hang of sandbox, but very rewarding when you do. The Devs are working hard at updating the game and are active on discord, will not be surprised if this game becomes a classic like Sim City.

Though there are some bugs to work out which they have been more than responsive to the community it's a good game if you are looking to just chill and build a space station probably not the game for you there is a learning curve so plan on restarting 10 times or so before you get the hang of it Just spent a few hours in Zen sandbox I would say play around in there if you are having issues with the mechanics of the game that way there is not the stress of the events that will destroy your whole station if you are left unprepared This has been on my wish list for a good while I would like to see a bit more content such as more buildings, research, ect. but it was worth the more i paid for it and has kept me entertained it was just lunched so some bugs and issues are expected

This product feels more like in early release than a completed game. In this game you can build a total of 8 types of buildings, buildings is built in a hex tile (similar to civ). You NEED a minimum of 7 types of buildings; divided into +population and +metal (mine). So in this game you can either build housing to increase population (which increases $), or increase metal via mine. That is all to it. Every once a while (on a timer), there will be meteor shower and space pirates. This will generate space rubbish in which one of the 7 buildings will slowly clean up the rubbish. This makes expansion or building new buildings a big hassle, as by the time the rubbish is cleared, a new batch of rubbish will form making people who like to plan their cities like Cities skyline or simcity feeling very very annoyed.
Good:
- Under the impression this is a space port sim (which isnt)
Bad:
- Tried to get refund - failed
- Annoying and very tedious process to build buildings
- Only 2 main buildings , housing or mine = boring
- Feel and look is to me is very Alpha
- No proper mission or tutorial. Yes they it but it felt like a rushed job and feels very incomplete

Not really sure what's going on with this game, But I liked it when I first got it. Set it down for a bit and wanted to pick it back up. After re-installation and launch of the game, It absolutely freaks out, automatically opens an endless supply of browser windows to the discord page and the game is unplayable as each time I switch back to the game screen it automatically redirects me to a new tabbed browser. Not sure what the fix is for this as I have uninstalled/reinstalled this game multiple times.
I would leave a positive recommendation, however this is the only game that acts this way for me. Sadly I won't be picking it back up.

Honestly, don't buy it, grab it at like 80% off or something. The game is unstable as hell. Money and resource yielding is frustrating. Yields aren't calculated at the end of the turn, but rather have the timing on the turn based on when they are built. Have $500 with positive cashflow? Guess what, you just got charged $510 and the AI sold a building in an unknown location to repay the debt. While I understand why calculations might be done this way, in practice it made it too frustrating to manage resource flows.
I was done with the campaign within 2 hours, played a bit of sandbox mode, but still was done within couple of minutes.

I saw this game at PAX, played it and couldn't wait for it to come it. The premise was super fun. Unfortunately, I am putting the game down fairly quickly and not making plans to return.
I can't play above regular speed because money and resources aren't calculated correctly. Despite positive indicators, as days pass, the amounts decline. When I pause the game, ships still attack my buildings and destroy them.
