Lu Bu Maker Reviews

I have reincarnated in the gender-bent world of Dong-tak. If I wish to survive, I've got four years to raise Lü Bu the right way.

A cute and fun game, but you might end up doing the same ending multiple times without a guide or if you're playing these types of games for the first time

Well made clone of Princess Maker 2 that features an interesting setup, and characters, and the usual addicting gameplay. It only takes a couple of hours to finish a session, but with multiple endings, and the game being so repetitive, and the price being so cheap, the length is justified. If you are a fan of stat building sims, or the Princess Maker series, in particular Princess Maker 2, I recommend it whole heartily.

In this game, you are reincarnated as Dong Zhao, the Tyrant who took over the Han Empire during the beginning of the Three Kingdoms era. Shortly after, you adopt Lu Bu the strongest warrior in the land... problem is, you remember your history and know what happens four years afterwards... A revolt where Lu Bu beheads you. Only in this case, most of the heroes have been genderbent into women... including Lu Bu. Your job in this game is to develop her skills in such a way that she does not kill you. And also so that she will have a decent job. Note: her strength and HP start high... everything else is either low or nonexistant. Good luck. Well worth the price.

This game is really easy and methodical, it is definitely not for everyone if you're looking for an intensive game that involves a lot of thinking or work. With that being said, I really enjoy playing this game and the story line is super interesting! I am currently working on unlocking all the endings (obviously I love this game enough to go through all that lol)! Definitely give this game a try!

Hm, it's good, perfect for killing time or if you are looking for something short but interesting. The Good: - Nice art. - Good music. - Lu Bu. - Her voice. The Bad: - No collection mode to view what costume you have unlocked. - Not many special events that unlock on certain condition. - No template to save what you have chose for the day in case you want to repeat your choice. P.s: Thanks devs, this is a nice game and I wouldn't mind if there are some dlc released for it.

Maybe it's not my cup of tea but to me it seems like a pretty simple, aimless, boring game with a bad translation. Skip.

Lu Bu Maker is a raising sim in similar vein to the Princess Maker series. It is in my opinion a fairly well done take on the genre with good art, an interesting framing device that has you try to avert a future where Lu Bu your daughter murders you, and some of it's own spin on the stat raising gameplay like explicit relationship stats and handling clothing in a way that I haven't seen much of before. On top of the usual stat raising gameplay there is also a good amount of visual novel style events to flesh out the narrative. The translation is quite rough around the edges particularly when it comes to grammar but it never ruined my enjoyment of the game. Lu Bu Maker doesn't quite have the same scope as for example the Princess Maker games but what content it does have is well done and with over twenty endings I believe it more than justifies the relatively low price. Really can't understand how this game has so many positive reviews. It's a really basic Princess Maker clone with an absolutely horrible translation. In Princess Maker there are lots of stats and a long list of different endings you can pursue, and your goal is to get the best ending for her. In Lu Bu Maker, there's pretty much only 4 stats and there's no real objective. As you raise those stats you unlock brief cutscenes with different characters with no real interaction needed on your part. Again, the translation is horrible and ruins everything. There's a LONG opening that I skipped because you literally can't understand anything. Talking to Lu Bu is pointless as she basically speaks like a toddler. Same with the cutscenes, these are meant to be rewards for you. You can kind of understand some of the conversation but without a solid translation you really can't follow the emotions of the characters and whether they are even getting along or arguing.
