Too few stages, too few characters and too few weapons to be good past a single play-through. Unfortunate, because I really liked the campy style of this game.

I have seen it on Twitch and wanted to have this game since i love the graphics and also Rogue-Like elements. But I cant recommend buying this game in its current state. I have stopped after the first level, because it feels fuckin bad to play the game. Not because of controls, but the graphics are soooooo bad. Even if the game shows more than 100FPS it feels like 20 FPS. This sucks so hard. GTX 1080ti and this game feels extreme laggy. Bad job developers. Will refund this game. Not enjoyable with this laggy graphics. UPDATE: I have started this game once again 2 days later and i could play one or two levels with real 144Hz and it felt GOOD! But then, going to the next room made me drop back to 60 fps again. Even restarting the game didnt help. I dont know why i had 144Hz in only 2 rooms. This is the issue here and i hope you can fix this soon! Its not enjoyable with 60 Hz.

Everything worked fine until first boss. Simply wouldn't let me do anything but walk until after I let it hit me(for half my health). I couldn't SHOOT, throw knife, dodgeroll, or even switch weapons.

Nom Nom Apocalypse is currently under-cooked and doesn't have enough spice. This needs a lot of work: The lag spikes that cause you to get hit or die which happen about every 5 minutes There is no story whatsoever, you just exist and food is evil. If your mouse pointer goes to far away from your character the aim stalls Turning while shooting is either slow or impossible Each section load launches the character like 30 foot ahead with speed ups and slow downs Sometimes those bullets might register as a hit While the artwork is nice it looks rough and very few models are used instead you see the same car times 100 or the same pile of food and rocks everywhere. I hope this is still in development cause it could get a lot better but at its current state its a hard pass, it feels like an alpha bare bones release. To clarify; I absolutely loved Gungeon and Undermine and play rogues as quickly as they come out, not new to the genre. This isn't me criticizing the rogue genre, this game needs lots of work.

Send it Back, It's Not Done I have less than an hour in this game because I beat it in 55 minutes and have no desire to go through again. Pros: - It's a twin stick shooter - It cost 3 Dollars on sale Cons: - It's a bad twin stick shooter - Cannot change the button layout. I like to keep my thumbs on the sticks, the layout makes it so I have to take my thumb off the sticks to roll, activate a special, etc. - Bugs: 1)Reloading while transitioning areas will keep the reload icon up until you reload again. 2)If you hold a direction while transitioning you will move during a blank screen and potentially run into traps. 3)On the main menu, if you exit out of controls and immediately re-enter controls, the credits play. 4)Killing the boss in the arcade room during one of his attacks will make the sound continuously play until the next stage. That includes the power up screen. 5)Not really a bug but the image on the extended part of my monitor stays up while the rest fades out. I've seen it in other games but those were way better and didn't make me regret playing them. -the weapons suck. The basic weapon was my favorite since it shoots straight and I don't have to repeatedly tap the button to fire. Several weapons either use a spread pattern that hits nothing or requires button taps. -the power-ups suck. You can only acquire and equip them in between stages. There is no upgrades for weapons, power ups, or special abilities. you have 3 slots for power ups and that's it. -each stage follows the same layout. Kill enemies and go to the next room a couple times until you reach a locked gate. Go one room away to get the key. Use the key and continue until you reach the boss. You move slow as hell and have to traverse screens which are dedicated solely to vending machines which you won't need. -as I type this, ghetto trash are driving around with their shitty music blasting making me even more irate. the developer can keep my money, he's going to need it if his games are this bad. I realize i'm being harsh but how can you make a twin stick shooter and include nothing that makes them great?
