Zero introduction or tutorial really which I thought was kinda of refreshing at first from the constant hand holding in gaming now. Instead the game was still as confusing at the start as it was at the end of me playing the game. Translation is quite off and confusing. Really not fun at all but thats probably due to me not understanding a thing that was going on.

The game has seen some good improvements, but still needs to be updated, as a lot of dialogue boxes still do not show up any text. Also a button to get out of menus (i.e. esc to get out of inventory) would make everything much easier and keep menus out of the way.

I wouldn't call this a game at all yet, it's basic and very rough in terms of gameplay. It's not worth buying as yet and i feel that this would be a game jam game which wasn't completed. Knowing this even so, i'm tempted to reach out to the dev and actually complete this game as my programming knowledge and ability could help make quick work of such a game. I'll probably reach out to them tonight and ask them if they want someone to finish the programming of it, would probably take a day or 2 max.
This was a very frustrating and agitating experience. Sometimes your characters do what you want them to do and sometimes there is no control over them. You just watch them die. Game over, try again. Gamestyle reminds me of FTL but this game surely fooled me. Like at least in FTL you KNOW why things are not working or why your characters are unable to follow your instructions.
Healing for example, one of the characters is about to die, I send him to the first aid box (I drag him to it, why is that? Why not just click the guy and then click on whatever he needs to interact with?), he only heals himself a small portion and then starts walking around, so I need to put him back to his station but he got injured again, so I wanted to drag him back to the first aid box but he didn't wanted to be dragged. So I just watched him die. Fun fun fun... So the first encounter was an enemy train, I put the characters at their stations; shield, power and gun control. Put the three weapons on specific target, enable auto-fire (like in FTL) and just watch. All three weapons started to shoot, no idea what type of weapon it is, but hey, if the game doesn't want to tell, then we don't need to know right? -_- We beaten the armored train, went to a trainstation, there you can get some jobs and assignments, buy in resources for along the way and move on. The map is nice to show you where you want to go, where obstacles could be and such. I upgraded some modules on the ship, like shield and power, because I saw that going down too rapidly in the first battle. Second encounter, wanted to do the same deal, putting the characters on their stations and locking the weapons on their targets. Now suddenly I had only one weapon (which didn't fired, at all), one guy was about the die but didn't wanted to go to the first aid box and the other one was standing between two fires frying his fingers as sausages (at least it looked that way), I had no control over anybody, except the one who was controlling the shield but he died, because he also didn't wanted to go to the first aid box. No control over anything! Third encounter, I was getting good hopes, the characters did what I told them to do for now. We did some errands, upgraded our train, untill one of the A-holes didn't wanted to do what I told him to do and so followed the rest. One of the guys identified himself as a sausage and was just standing still in the fire! Plus, found a bug with the repair button, you can keep smashing it and that makes your train invulnerable. But utterly useless, when your crew isn't responding to your calls. After three times, three restarts of the game, I had enough of this BS. The game has good intentions and if executed in a well manner, this game would be a good game. The setting is good, also reminds me of the game "The Last Train" - just because of the setting.. But the controls... Aaarrrghh!!! Drives me nuts! This game need a lot of work!
Therefor, I do NOT recommend this game.
pros: - nice idea (as far as I can understand the idea) - random events that add a little depth do game (although they are rather crudely done) - decent graphics cons: - manual that creates more questions than gives answers - poor translation to English in all the game elements (from manual to interface) - interface that is hard to understand: I want to accept side mission, but somehow can't because the button is not active, I have no idea what the weapons are or how they work, the enemy train left something behind, but I don't know what it is or how can I pick it up (or maybe I already have?) things I don't get: - most of the game functions - why can't I stop my train between stations (f.e. for repeair or just to plan my route)? - why if fire breaks out the crew can't deal with it automatically? - why trains have O2 machines aboard? seems like simple FTL copy that should not apply to trains - why only one part of the train is responsible of armor? shouldn't each part of the train have separate armor? - who are the people on the stations that I can't interact with and why some of them have symbols above their heads? - how can I buy / sell stuff on the stations? - what are the marks on the "map"? and so on and so on...

🚂-The Game: The concept and premisse it´s very cool. Remind me a bit of the good parts in "The Final Station", but it´s poor executed, and looking at some details, appear to me, it´s left unfinished and unpolished. 🚂-But the major problems are: 1- Lack of a proper tutorial for explain the mechanics, most of the time you die soon afther the game have started, because its very hard to know what you should do, where and how you need to do it. By the description, appeared to me the game have a lot of stuff to do around, a good replayability, but without knowing how do things, you miss a lot of the fun that could bring, at least if that have a proper tutorial, maybe the experience could have been other. 2- Language appear to unexpected switch of english to russian. 3- No proper intro or anything explaining what are our purpose or what we are doing exactly, the game appear to have a bit of history, but it´s not delivered at us in any good way. 🚂-Conclusion: So i not feel motivated to continue playing the game, and decided to go for a refund, because appear the project have been left in that state, sad thing, good idea, but not really a game i think, so stay away from this. So... DON'T CATCH THIS TRAIN!!!

still not great but makes much more sense and things seem to work at least like they should. The translation is still very off, there's quite a few bugs, i can't really tell if they are game-breaking because I think i managed to finish it. Best I can come up with the game is a real time post apocalyptic train rougelite-like adventure. It's less like Transarctica and more like FTL on a train. You choose a path across several stations to reach the end point of the map. The stations and map seem randomly generated, which is nice. At stations depending on the type, you can get missions, buy items and weapons or repair your train. There might be more to do but the translation is iffy. In betwen stations the train drives along the track, there are a few stations to keep an eye on to keep the train in good health. You simply have to click on them to assign a worker. In these driving segments you are hit with random dialog events. Some lead to combat or items, some I haven't been able to make heads or tails of. The combat is a bit hectic as you either have to manually target your guns or assign someone to fire control. Items also need a worker assigned to the station to be used. All this while still doing the things to drive the train normally. It's not especially rewarding but not more frustrating than some of the fights in FTL.
