I'm going to be extremely honest. When it comes to the areas leading to all bosses, all three DLC's are garbage. However, I actually had a really fun time against Hellfire Knight. The Frozen Empress, for me, is the pure definition of mediocre. But this last boss... I don't even care to remember his name. I think you actually need to put A LOT of effort, to making something this bad. I doubt it comes naturally.
This is with no exaggeration whatsoever, the worst boss I have ever fought in any souls game. This isn't a flex or a way to throw confetti on top of my head, but I have beaten the original Demon's Souls, the remake one, all three dark souls, Bloodborne, both Niohs, The Surge 2, the normal Code Vein three times and Hellpoint, and this boss easily takes the cake of the worst one. I didn't think anyone could surpass Bed of Chaos when it comes to just bad design when it comes to all mechanics. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy Lord of Thunder.
And don't even get me started on all the path that leads to the boss, the pathetic mini bosses, one being the same as DLC 2, the fact that the final boss arena was glitched for a while. It's all seriously a really hot pile of s**t. Damn shame, cause I actually really like Code Vein.

DO NOT BUY!!! Its a lazy DLC. It's depth map with some nonsense challenges & a broken Godeater boss. The only thing worthwhile are the rekinned 3 weapons because of their perks, the blood code & alternate clothing for 2 characters. albeit they are locked behind those challenges.

This DLC, like the other DLC, suffer the issues of Hellfire Knight, which came out first. Copy-paste enemies, content locked behind the boss challenges, and the boss itself isn't fun to fight because you realized that the Horrors were never designed to be fought like bosses. This is Code Vein not God Eater, which the devs quite forgot. They were clearly showing restraint in the base game, trying to really work within their boundaries, but then lost all that restraint here. Not recommended at all. It's best to forget the DLC exist and enjoy the base game.
I gave as much effort into writing this as the devs did into the DLC. I copy-pasted it from my Frozen Empress review.

The boss fight is just an enemy taken from God Eater and put into a game that does not share God Eater's gameplay, resulting in extremely annoying fights, even when the enemy they took is one that I normally rather enjoy fighting in God Eater. Everything else is basically just a reskin, and the honor mission things are really annoying.
I do not recommend any of the DLC.

Easily the worst boss in the entire game.
>Let's make 90% of the boss attacks a 360 AoE nuke
ah so slow but massive AoE attacks type of boss
>No no no, make it fast too
but then there will barely be any window of opportunity for the players to attack
>Oh you are right... add in a phase where the boss runs around the map basically making it impossible to hit
what
>Make the boss do it every 30s
?
>Also make the boss has terrible telegraphed attacks so the players have difficulties recognizing it
??
>You know what's even better. make the boss has large wings that cover more than half of the players camera screen
???
I don't care much about the reskin or the terrible map design, but at least the hellfire knight was a very fun boss to fight

Its been said over and over, but this is monumentally lazy DLC.
I don't understand why bandai just decided to throw away this game immediately, especially when it was fairly popular. They can't seem to decide when to actually support a game properly or not.

I love the base game, and I've given all of the DLCs a fair shake, so I feel it's time I put my thoughts down.
This is the worst DLC. The other two are "fine", but are held back by being too expensive for how sparse the content is. You do get some cool new unlockable Gifts that are fun to use, and I guess the bloodcodes they're part of are entertaining to play with, but most of them are min-maxed and don't gel with my personal playstyle.
What makes this specific DLC the absolute worst is that the primary attraction, the fight against the Lord of Thunder, is completely broken.
Don't misunderstand me, all the DLC bosses are fraught with problems such as their size making it hard to see what you or they are doing at any time, a variety of cheap shot moves that only gets worse as you progress through the release order of each DLC, and really rough and janky hurtboxes.
It's easier to bulletpoint my complaints for readability:
- The Lord of Thunder can hit you with his wings, which is fine in itself, but they are frequently too high to visually hit you, yet you will take damage.
- On the topic of wings, this is the worst offender for the camera being completely blocked by the sheer size and presence of flailing limbs. A blind person would do just as well playing this boss as one with perfect sight, because in the end you're reduced to listening to sound cues and being familiar with the average attack speed and 'feel' for the boss's most common attacks. Those wings, even when not being weaponised, are always in the way. For the sake of gameplay those badboys should have been folded back until they're used. It would improve visibility and the ability to read moves tenfold.
- The Lord of Thunder can access almost all of his moves in phase 1 right at the start of the fight. There's a hint of mechanics involving the boss changing colour, but he can go from 'safe' to full code red in one attack, almost as if he's skipping the mechanics entirely to use a high-level move instantly. In other words, there are visual cues that fool you into thinking there's a system in place, but there really isn't.
- The boss can link together attacks whose animations don't quite line up. A high leap ending in a full body slam can be followed up with in one-frame by any attack, which has the boss jerk from laying flat on the ground to now being stood on all fours again with no animation in between.
- Most of the boss' moves are instant kills, or stunlock you into a two-shot. And are centered purely around being extremely fast windups. His 'slow' or more varied moves include standing still and charging up a really small AoE, or turning the entire arena into an unusable minefield with exception of the edges while he runs around for far too long like an escaped toddler.
- The boss has a tendency to spam instant-kill attacks (kinda expected when most of the moves are just OHKO's), many of them being proc'd seemingly by random and with little warning. I've seen him repeat the same backflip move up to three times in my experience.
-Even with Quick mobility, if the boss chooses the wrong set of moves, you will not be able to dodge them all because he will end up attacking faster than you can dodge - nevermind land a single hit yourself.
-Guard breaking is ironically completely broken. This is a staple mechanic of the game that forces bosses to drop to the floor if they take too many heavy hits. During this time you get a few seconds worth of free hits. However in this case, if you personally cause the boss to drop, he recovers in one second, if you let your AI companion solo the boss, and they break the boss' guard, the boss will drop for the 'usual' time you would have come to expect in this game.
The boss is beatable, but if you're trying to clear out the trials, which include a hitless run vs. a huge HP pool, this becomes an exercise in madness, especially when the rewards for completing this feat are barely visible accessories and not a badge or icon at the bare minimum for showing co-op players what you've 'achieved'
It's obvious these DLCs were shoved out the door because of contractual obligation and given no time to be made into something worthwhile, but that cannot excuse the steaming pile here. For all that is good and just, do not buy this lone DLC, you only lose a part of yourself. If you make the questionable decision to buy the season pass for all the DLC, do yourself a favour and just never play this one.

Pros:
+Alternate costumes for Jack and Eva
+Challenging Boss Fight with various missions to complete for rewards
Cons:
-Rewards for most of the missions are either 'meh' or '♥♥♥♥'
-Mini-bosses are just planted mob enemies with attack and defense buff and nothing else
-DLC can be completed in one hour or less if you don't care about completing the missions
Conclusion:
Don't bother with this DLC unless the price is at a reasonable amount (maybe $2-$5), then you can have fun with your dressed up husbando/waifu
Sidenote: This is just a copy & paste from my other two reviews about the two previous DLCs, but since this is essentially the same thing, it's more fitting to paste it here as well.

Honestly I don't understand why the ♥♥♥♥ did they even make these. It really feels like they just wanted to sell a season pass and then had no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea what to actually do with those so they scrambled together extremely sorry excuses for dlc.
These should be free, seriously they're just reskins of weapons that are already in the game. All three of these DLCs are just abysmal.
