No improvement at all over the last 5-6 years at least in FM. Oh, excuse me, the 3D matches have. But if you only care about it, think about Fifa or PES, not FM, that's not the goal of this game.
So it's still as predictable, unrealistic and unresponding as it was.
The Touch version? A 30€ demo. It's not a simplified FM, it's FM with less options and less players. So a demo. That you pay 30€.

Lots of interruptions for useless info.
An awful lot of bullshit recurring press interviews.
Tactics seem to have very little influence on the game.
Staff stats seem to have very little impact, individual training seems to have close to zero impact as well.
Several glitches here and there which impact the gameplay (impossibility to contest a red card successfully, assistant no longer handling friendly matches after a couple of seasons, irrelevant press interviews...)
All in all, aside from clicking continue and handling transfers, which by the way are still not handled realistically, there is not a lot to do and all you do seem to have little impact.
But somehow it still is user friendly enough to keep you playing for hours.

Abandon & bugged game ???
1. 2 times allready that i sell a player and NOT receive the money (single player) !!!
2. My self created son was standing with "NO transfer possible" and having a "contract for life" wich i did pay for both actions... is sell out to another club, when only i as manager can handle that !!! Even no warning before, just out of my team and selled to another one...
What's the sinn of creating a son and give him contract for life, need to pay for both actions and then see him going to another team ???
When you pay for a son that start in your team, that should be ALWAYS BE WITH A CONTRACT FOR LIFE or it makes no sinn at all to ask extra money for that !!!
URGENT UPDATE NEEDED HERE pls!
If not, i will NOT buy FM 2020 wich is on my wish list already... but with such errors there is no reason to buy anything anymore here !!!
Looking for urgent corrections; Thanks in advance.

This is the best football simulator available, I love it, but this year the game is not polished enough, there´re lots of bugs, like half the text disappearing of the screen for no reason. I´ve never seen so many bugs in a FM release, it feels like a beta version sometimes. I think I won´t play much untill winter market update so I don´t get burnt before they fix things.

So, after putting almost 3000 hours into FMT19, I'd like to share my thoughts on it here.
I'll mainly concentrate on the match engine, since I think it's the worst one SI has graced us with in the last years.
I watch whole matches, so some of the points below might be unknown to people only watching highlights.
Since most people have short attention spans these days, we'll do a list.
· Crossing is bugged. Players in possession patiently wait until being closed down before attempting to cross. Most crosses are blocked because players think their opponents are made of ectoplasm and the ball will pass through them.
· Wing play is bugged. Diagonal passes are being played with pinpoint accuracy, yet passes to the wings are just being yeeted out of reach of the winger. This happens all the time and is infuriating. You have a team of world class players who can't play a pass to the wings.
· Behaviour under pressure is bugged. Players behave like idiots when being closed down. Instead of passing to the nearest available player, they kick the ball into row Z, giving their opponent a throw in. Also, racing after a ball which is going to cross the byline (and give you a goal kick), only to kick it over touch to give away a throw in.
· Ball control is bugged. Players can't control the ball with their chests. The only options are to control it with their feet or head. Most long passes are being headed away in front of the player, so the ball either goes over the byline or touchline, or is being picked up by the opponent.
· Attacking movement is bugged. Players picking up the ball in front of the penalty area will most of the times turn onto their weaker foot and attempt to pass the ball to someone else instead of turning onto their stronger foot and attempting to shoot, even if they are told to "shoot more often" or "shoot on sight". Numerous times have I seen players yeeting the ball to the flanks even though they had a clear shooting position in front of the penalty area.
· Short passing play is bugged. Two defenders get stuck playing passes to each other while being closed down (even though there are options to pass the ball), therefore moving towards their goal and finally passing to the GK. This happens mostly when passing is set to short.
· Lack of through balls. Players in front of the penalty area will either pass to the flanks or perform backpasses instead of playing a through ball to a striker waiting to run into the area. Using any possible combination of instructions has no effect. Flanks or backpass.
While I played this game a lot, I would give it a thumbs down, since the match engine is a disaster, and the fact that SI refuses to hotfix any of the issues with the game is a shame.

My perfect game! I have always wanted to be a Head Coach rather than a Manager of everything, you can allocate all signings (you can specify, contracts, ingoings or outgoings) to your backroom staff. This is something that has annoyed me for years because I would find myself spending hours trying to find the right players. Now I can let me Director of Football be the Director of Football and deal with the players, and I can now be the Head Coach getting results and winning stuff without the hassle!
This is going to be my favourite version of Football Manager ever.

As a long time CM/FM player since 1998-99, this is probably the best version since FM14, as per visuals and sim depth. Also "Touch" version means half price with a faster gameplay, which is always a welcome for people of my age, who work 9-5 and have kids :)
On the other hand, GAME NEEDS A CORRECTIVE PATCH A.S.A.P. !!
There's no playability with this current game mechanics, especailly on transfer market. I will just give two examples which will make you understand the issue ;
1- As Arsenal's manager, I offered Lacazette+Aumabeyang+70M £ for Griezmann and got declined without any counter-offers..
2- As PSG's Manager, I offered Chelsea a fee of 60M £ for a rather mediocre player like C. Pavon and the response was that they would accept a fee of 287M £ !!!
I guess this list would go on if I tried..
I mean, what the hell ?? This is a football simulation game and transfer of players is not only your sole option to alter the game simulation, also it should be considered as a core part of the game mechanics..
Plus, I guess no one really needs 3D match visuals MORE THAN making logical transfers in a grand football simulator...For me it is still better to have 2D in gameplay, it is better to focus on tactics for me... Of course some will prefer 3D but if you really only care about graphics, then FIFA and PES waiting for you anyways.. :)
Any developer response is welcome and please fix this transfer "bug".. I really want to enjoy the game, but this is not possible at its current state..
Thx & Regards,

FM Touch 19 returns the Football Manager series to its simplified and glorius best in a streamlined version of the main game.
This edition captures the essence of the earlier games in the series (say FM05-FM10), with a focus mainly on match tactics and squad building.
Scouting and training are present but in a much more simplified and user friendly manner compared to the main game, whilst frustating interactions like teamtalks and player conversations are removed entirely.
There is also an added benefit that the game processes much faster than the main version, allowing those who may be time limited the opportunity to have more meaningful managerial careers.
Certainly, if you are a player who may have fallen out of love with the newer versions of the main game, this may well be the perfect way to rekindle your football managerial affair.

The touch version has been able to provide a decent FM experience without having to pour hundreds of hours into a single save. I play a single nation game on a Surface Go which seems ideal for it, the gameplay experience is fine and doesn't drain the battery within an hour.
Not without it's faults, it's lacking some features I used to like (notably team talks) and there are the unpopular micro-transations so you can pay to win, but you don't have to use them.
Would recommend for old people like me who don't have the time for a proper game of FM because of real world responsibilities.
