I don't understand why so many people hate on this game they say mashbox is better but its really not. but its a good game and if you like good bmx games i would buy.

My honest review of this game is that its just poor. The physics are abysmal when mounting and dismounting the bike, the map is dead and completely void of all life like riding around Chernobyl, there's zero character customisation which just removes any possibility of making it your own and what characters you can access are locked behind stars which require you to complete missions to achieve them, the UI is horrendous with no ability to use a mouse for the menus as it all needs to be done through the controller. To say this is supposed to be released on consoles yet still hasn't is baffling, it feels like a console game to begin with and a crap one at that. What I will say is that doing tricks and customising the bike is good, there's loads of bike parts to choose but you guessed it these are also locked behind missions which I am fine with but the game doesn't give you pointers on how to do tricks unless its the tutorial missions so spending 5-10 minutes looking through the useless UI to find the trick menu is usually what you'll need to do but grinds require external searching. The only way to get other parts is to find find boxes in the world. It's most definitely not a £30 game, at best this is a £15 game. It feels lazy, gets boring very quickly and is a waste of money and I am considering getting it refunded due to how much of a letdown this is.

The work mash has done is by far the best bmx game that has ever been. 2.0 will change bmx video games. you can do your xgames tricks and your can slow it down to get tech with it. if your on the fence about it join the discussion and find out why so many shredders love this game. amazing modding community as well

The dynamics take time to get used to but other than that its actually a really good game with much more potential.

Spent more time making stuff for the game in blender and unity but this game is fire. Currently running the alpha build and cant wait for all the updates to be pushed to the main game. Best Bmx game around if you ask me.

Don’t let the trailers fool you like they did me. The game play feels terrible and is a buggy mess. Despite the recent negative reviews, I decided to buy it and go in with an open mind, hoping that these criticisms were exaggerated. Unfortunately, what I found was an unfinished buggy game that feels like it was rushed out before even being properly tested. It's frustrating to see a game with so much potential fall flat, especially for it's asking price. I’ve seen better quality in early access titles. i have chosen to refund this game, In it's current state i cannot recommend and would suggest to save your money and your time.

So so bad, played god knows how many hours on Pipe, but this just feels like another buggy demo, that's double the price of the original demo, twice as buggy, and the physics are shocking - I'm not expecting a AAA title, but this is another shocking money grab. Refunded, and I'll stick to Pipe BMX instead

still way too expensive even on sale, physics are weird, physics are being changed after they were the same since launch. after mashbox was released they decided to do bmx streets 2.0, back to mashbox its almost better than bmx streets itself but because its free its obviously very poor quality as well. the games default map lacks character and any life, the graphics look pretty shitty on my 2560x1440p monitor paired with a pretty solid gpu and cpu, not being able to have your own character and customize it how you want is also something that the game lacks, but i will say the bmx customization is very in depth and very solid all though some parts that look like they're supposed to match don't match at all. im really confused as to why this mess is still being sold for $44 where i live, on sale it was still 30 dollars which still just isn't even worth it to me. another thing i would like to mention is that the creator of this disaster turned off his comments on instagram while still posting updates about mashbox the other disaster which is free, you'll often see him posting himself messing around with a car which is just so confusing and doesn't have anything to do with the game

its fun but its sad pipes physics are miles better, and to top it off, if you like collecting achievements and bike parts well too bad, half the challenges arent even fun and the 1st race the game shows you is impossible, look it up, when the dev does it he has 28 seconds and you constantly over shoot the middle and get insane speed boosts and transfer all the way to the start. never thought id have to use cheat engine to compensate for a lazy a** greedy dev. maybe stick to unreal 4 cause you somehow butchered a trash engine and made it even worse. Pipe is the prime example, he forces a 2.0 update and if you dont downgrade (which takes jumping through multiple hoops) just to play modded maps. is crazy how you took the idea SkaterXL did for maps and put it in streets just to try to make PIPE obsolete. if you find this on sale yes pick it up, but he doesnt deserve to full 40-$50 which is a shame because pipe is worth that full $15. AND YES he abandoned this game already after release which is sad and we cant even make our own challenges and share them with people.

tldr is basically the game rips, dev is passionate and active in the community. I used to dream about a physics based bmx game and this is everything I could have wanted and more. heads up - The game is being re-developed from the core up as we speak and gets patched sometimes 3-4 times a day or more, and it's feeling really good, you can enjoy all the new changes on mod maps and in a pre-loaded test area. You can also play the 1.0 version with the main map and challenges and stuff and check in on the new changes in the developer branch version at your leisure if that's not your thing. There are new tricks added weekly lately and the dev is commited to making transition riding and grinds as great as possible. As far as playing it is like no other. There is unlimited freedom to ride how you want, you can turn on and off the assists for a more hardcore experience or keep them on for chill fun. The mod community is super alive with clothes, maps and bike parts. Overall a great experience to be a part of. 10/10 Check out the discord too
