I supported this game on KS which unfortunatelly wasn't succesfull, but the autor still made it so the game is released at least in Early Access, which is great.
When i first played it, i was a bit confused, because there is no tutorial. I didn't know how to save the game or how and where to use the money you get. I let myself died to see if it somehow saved but no. It was late night and i was pretty tired, so i gone to sleep. Couple of days later i tryed it again (it got one patch in between), and now i finaly did see the writing "Follow me" after you level up and the flashy bubles showing your character where to go, and there you can buy new equipment, change your character customization and even save the game. It got much more fun after i discovered this and i can really recommend it. If you like roguelikes, constant action, voxels, flashy colors, then buy it, or wait for a couple of more updates and then buy it. By the way the game doesn't have any option menu for now and you can turn it off only by alt+F4. I am ok with that, but some people might want some controls customization, so you know there isn't any for now.
Edit: The dev just informed me, that there actually is a menu :) When you play with controller it's under START and on keybord its under the ENTER key.

Very cool game!
It's a roguelike where everything is procedurally generated on the fly, so with every move you experience a completely different world. I love the way you can destroy everything, so you can carve out caves through the environment and attack from below by bursting upwards.
Lots of gear for different playstyles - and there are thousands of outfit combinations which you find in little chests throughout the game. It's really satisfying smashing enemies into the air, combo-ing them in mid-air, and then smashing them back down to the ground.
in my version you can also unleash special attacks when your combo bar fills up. New players could do with an ingame tutorial to learn some of the extra moves! can't wait until future updates where we can upgrade achaem too!

I like what this game is, and having communicated with the developer directly, I like where this game seems to be headed. It's not perfect, but Achaem stands head and shoulders above the competition in early access games.
Pros:
-Variety of weapons/equipment
-Easy to run on ultra
-Solid physics
-Graphics
-Music and sound
-Cosmetics
-Playable on KBM or gamepad
Cons:
-The map is not saved in any way. If you accidently cross the threshold into a further tile, you could miss your chance to gear up for the next level.

Just saw an email from the failed kickstarter that this game was made anyway. Had a quick go - will try more later. Looking good. Fun to smash the environment, and find all the gear.
