I love this game and, while it is confusing sometimes I would recommend this game.

Very nice sandbox successor to Zoo Games for zen designing and critter co-habitation finangling. Very much look forward to the full product. I consider my early access purchase an investment.

I mean..... You get like 40 minutes to spend your money to house animals and then nothing slowly (it's agonizing) wait for people to come in. There's no tutorials at all..... Just gotta kinda fumble around while your animals slowly die as you struggle to find out how to feed them. Mistakes were made this day.

I like the ability to be able to construct what you want (granted you "enable" the no money required option lol). It's a little bit of a struggle keeping everyone (animals and people) happy but I think the game is a success overall. If you are just looking to create a zoo (not pet, hand feed, groom the animals) just basic enclosure construction and construction of exhibits for guests then this is your game!

Quite reminds me the WP2 and WP3. Tooltip is helpful, yet I think there could be some decent tutorial section in the future. Frankly said, I don't like WP3's staff system which staffs stand still in that very position when idle... but well, if you like Wildlife Park style, Not bad I say.

Seems like it might be good at launch, but as of right now, laggy as hell, water placement doesn't work right, and the number of animals is very low, and they try to make it seem like more, by adding both genders as different animals, for example, instead of just switching the genders like in Zoo Tycoon, you have to select a second button of the same animal, but with a different gender.

This game is basically Wildlife Park 2 and 3 with a cubic animation style and grid. But despite that animation style, they managed to make this game look pretty good. The trees wave in the wind, and the shading is really solid in most cases. Granted, there's some wonky animal animations and the terrain definitely needs to receive some more attention. If they continue to work on the animation, the full release's visuals will be really solid. Now, the more important part: The gameplay. As I stated, it's none or less the same as Wildlife Park 2 and 3. It controls more easily than them though, largely thanks to the ability to place objects and terrain on a grid. The paths are also an improvement, because they don't half-merge with the surrounding terrain anymore, and you can actually individually pick which path and which curb to use. I would've liked that level of costumisation to expand to other objects. You still have to place down whole buildings and large decorations, with no choice in how they look. I would like to see more costumisation, with for example the option to have differently coloured or shaped roofs, or the option to pick from a few designs for your flags. So while the game is decent, a higher degree of customisation is needed to make it really good. The objectives to reach the next level of prestige are also pretty limiting. You have to get all level 1 animal species to advance to level 2, which is annoying when you're trying to build a zoo with a theme which one of the species doesn't fit. More animal species in each level (which I'm counting on, since this is only early access) or a lower treshold for advancing would help get rid of this problem. You also have to keep a certain number of visitors happy to advance. That is a pretty reasonable demand, but the visitors need for decoration already gets critical when they're ten tiles away from a decoration, so you end up spamming decorations. This goes for certain other demands too. The game would definitely be more enjoyable if the visitors were slightly easier to please, and if you weren't forced to get every animal species. All in all, I give this game a 6/10. The visual style is already pretty good, and even in early access the gameplay is decent for a building / management sim game. But for the full release to really be worth the money compared to other games in the same genre, it will need a higher degree of costumisation, and the objectives for reaching the next prestige level need to be less limiting.

Its literally a simplified, less visually appealing version of the wildlife park games. It is extremely limited and it doesn't have the excuse of being early access because all it did was lift some of the previous games. Wildlife park 1 and 2 are much better games for less. Save $10 and buy one of them if you want this game.
