Treasures of the Ancients: Egypt is a construction kit copy + paste game. The Russian "developer", a known asset flip scammer, used the craptastic ClickTeam Fusion video game construction kit, copying + pasting and arranging premade assets, using premade level design tools so they could pretend they're an actual game developer. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab. An important note: Garage Games are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's effort. Garage Games have shown a repeated pattern of trying to scam gamers, here are some examples of other asset flip scams they've pulled:

"AA Touch Gun! These construction kits are intended to teach people some of the basic principles of game development, and to make small demos to pass around with friends. They're not intended to replace to actual work of real, professional game developers. So it's inappropriate when amateurs try to use these for profit, without any actual, real game development effort taking place. This doesn't result in products that have any real meaningful value for gamers. This time Garage Games/Reforged Group/whatever (they have at least half a dozen sockpuppet/alt accounts they use to pollute Steam) have gotten someone's ClickTeam Fusion platformer, a very badly done effort, with clunky handling and ridiculous clipping as you float over curved surfaces on platforms... it's a janky mess, but what do you expect from half an hour copying + pasting a ClickTeam Fusion platformer demo? From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Clickteam Fusion game engine/toolset - the "No-Code" construction kit that "Anyone can make games with!!". Including, you know, people who aren't game developers. Which is a problem. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur developers as it's free (so they don't have to pay for GameMaker Studio) and doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's arguably worse than GameMaker Studio). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 9 players. That's right, only 9. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. Treasures of the Ancients: Egypt is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

Honestly, I have played way worse achievement idling "games" than this, but bruh come on you could have made it at least halfway decent with little effort. But anyway, ez 100% with 5% fun, 95% waste of time.
Waste of 10 Minutes
Treasure of the Ancients: Egypt is a 2D platformer that has 10 levels, each one lasting less than a minute. This game can be completed in 10 minutes and that's pushing it. Each level is designed to be as long as possible with no imagination, no creativity, and no fun at all. It felt like I was playing a game designed by a 4 year old. Actually I take that back, the 4 year old could design a better game. Even with the game being 10 minutes long I encountered bugs and glitches like my character floating through walls, wonky hitboxes, and a music toggle option that just didn't work. Honestly, I spent 49 cents on this game and I would have had more fun ripping a dollar bill in half and eating it. Don't waste your time or money on this piece of crap. This game is for achievement hunters, plain and simple. No other reason to buy it. For .49, the controls work, the achievements pop, and although the levels don't provide any real challenge and are kinda just in the way of you and the achievements, I did feel a sense of at least wanting to complete the game once I started it. I have played others that either weren't even a "game," or were torture to get through. So since it's either a positive or a negative... ...Though, I think the "game" barely scrapes by on being a "neutral" experience, it was not a negative experience.

Just don't buy it even though it's cheap. You can complete this game within 10 minutes. 10 minutes I can never get back.

cheap, boring, bad and very small jump&run, mostly just good for the easy and fast 10 achievements, wouldn't even play it as a f2p title, just a waste of time...
