Great tables, great effects. My GTX 970 falls into reprojection often with most of the DLC tables. Jaws has a mode like playing on a rocking ship - awesome. Back to the Future has some crazy 7 ball multiballs.

As someone who has only a little connection to these movies, having seen them all at least one time, these are all fun tables that do not play like each other. However one thing is they all do feel more like "real" tables you would find in real life over the other Pinball FX2 VR tables that feel as though they were made for video games from the ground up. That real table feel is very much appreciated compared to the other DLC offerings, and there is still plenty of crazy effects and stuff on these tables, just by comparison to the others is all. The fact that it is licensed with all the movie lines and images in a fun way where I would play all three of these with zero knowledge of the movies, means this is a good buy...if on deal. If at full price, if you are a completest, well they aren't bad tables so you aren't completely throwing your money away.

$20 may be a bit overpriced for three tables that aren't able to license the original music or voice clips from the movies, but all in all they play pretty well. I especially like Jaws.
With one exception, which is why I'm giving the thumbs down: The audio mix on the Back To Future Table is so bad it's unplayable with the volume up. The car sounds are 300% too loud, unsure how anybody with working ear drums could let this out the door like that. (Using a Vive Pro) I own every table and the rest are fine so .
Please fix.
1/18/2024 Edit: They did indeed fix the BTTF sound effect issue! I played it with an Index and it sounded fine. Unfortunately, there are two new issues:
* Index controller not properly supported. You can still play once you figure it out, but it's weird, like down on the joystick is button B, etc.
* There seems to be performance issues in the way of jitter, like it's forcing 75 fps on a 90 fps or something weird like that.
So thumbs up unless you have an Index I guess?

Descent DLC not good but not really bad either.
Some tyre sounds (Back to the future table) have some anyoning volume increase but its not gamebreaking.
A few peole say its 300% but this is not true, its maybe something between 150-200%.
Better get the other table DLC's first, if you new to Pinball FX2 VR.

I never thought 'pinball' would be something I would particularly come to love in VR, but here we are. You can't easily have a pinball table in your house, right? It's a worthy thing to create in virtual reality!
I've played other VR pinball games that are basically just simulators, and that's great. Those have their purpose. I enjoy Stern Pinball Arcade for that, and in particular their Ghostbusters table. But this game takes it to a nifty next step - on the Back to the Future table, for example, a tiny Doc and Marty run around. The Delorean takes off from the table and flies around your head. Balls catch on fire, balls disappear and re-appear as if they've been time travelling ... It's a lot of fun. Even if you do have a pinball table in your house this would be worth getting for the extra immersive element that you just can't get in real life.
This game is nifty and fun, and the Universal Classics pack is great for the BTTF table in particular. The Jaws table is eh, whatever, but maybe I've just not got my head around that yet. The ET table has a good design and lets you loop the ball around again and again on just the upper part of the table if your timing is good. You collect candy and play 3d minigames and target various parts of the table in fun ways. The BTTF table is easy to follow, has fun tasks, nifty effects, frequent multiballs, and is forgiving enough you can still have some fun on it even if things aren't going well. Everything is smooth and there are no crashes, which can't be said for some of the competing VR pinball titles out there. This pinball simulator and this DLC pack are a thumbs up from me.

Was great to see that the dev's hadn't completely abandoned the VR version of the game. The three tables are quite good and imo worth the $20 price of admission. Back to the Future, however, is completely unplayable due to the tire squeals of the delorean being set at 500 percent volume. ET also lets out an autistic screech at the same volume everytime you lose a ball, but its infrequent enough that you can deal with it. JAWS is a fantastic table and aside from missing the iconic JAWS theme, I have no complaints.
Another let down though is the fact that your purchase of these tables for the VR version of the game does not transfer over to the standard, 2-d version. Normally this combined with the B2TF sound issues be enough for a thumbs down rating, but the tables are really quite good and I'm hoping if these do well we'll see another VR release (Bethesda Pinball Plz).

Get these if you are on the fence. Don't worry about the $20 price tag. You will honestly play these more than the regular tables.
The volume is fine on my Quest 2, so either the other reviewers were sensitive to noise or Zen fixed the problem.
The music isn't original on any of these games, but has similar sounds. The voices are not the original, but are pretty damn close to the real thing, so doesn't bother me. BTTF is such an awesome table! So many options to choose from from the main menu to include all the years. Seeing the DeLorean skid out and fly next to you is so cool!
I wish Zen would make more VR tables, but I know that's probably asking a lot as Pinball is a Niche market and they haven't made a game in a few years.
Warning-You will be addicted, like I am

No original music on the tables and annoying backround makes a promising table set for fans of the movies a complete disapointment.

Great to good tables only issue is lack of the actual OST music from the movies which is a big demerit but for the sale price you can let it slide and put the real music in the background on your turntable and smash balls like its the last millennium again in 3D!!

Lame tables, they don't play well at all. Sound clips not even taken from the movies, and on top of that the fake voices arn't even saying lines from the movies. They didn't even get the rights to the theme music for these movies. What kind of licencing agreement did they get to have the character likenesses and nothing else? Also, Back to the future sound effects are way too loud compared to the rest of the tables's noises, voices, and music - make it completely, like the other reviewer, unplayable for me too
Just awful. Don't waste your time with this DLC.
