Incredible. Hours of content, an interesting story, top-tier balls-to-the-wall gameplay, excellent soundtrack. Every modern game developer should be ashamed of themselves for not coming close to this fucking masterpiece of an experience.

I bought this old game (I do believe it's from 2008) for one reason: it had no reviews! Since it was on deep discount I didn't mind just so I could give it a try. At any rate, what is visible in the images is exactly what you get. Shortly after the game starts you land in a screen sitting on a ledge fishing rod in hand. That long tube-thing on the right is a timer and you're scored per fish caught and progression will be based on score. The fishing is fairly intuitive: cast out, use the mouse to wiggle the bait around and try to attract a fish, once caught use the mouse to "reel" it in. Seeing as I am the type of person who never excels at this kind of game I can't see myself making it to the end but I will play it when the mood strikes because it's a fun experience in pretty scenery. Oh, and it does not require the Steam client to be launched to run either.
